The Open Doorway of Cape Cod, Inc.

The Open Doorway of Cape Cod, Inc. We are here to help and educate those on Cape Cod suffering from addiction, along with their families, to access much needed help and resources.

The Open Doorway of Cape Cod, Inc. is a grassroots organization made up of Cape Cod residents from all walks of life, including health care providers, educators and community leaders. Many of our members have lost loved ones to addiction. The Open Doorway of Cape Cod, Inc.'s mission is to provide those on Cape Cod suffering from or affected by addiction a judgment free place to come for help. aims to support those seeking help and rehabilitation, both emotionally and financially - when possible. We exist to provide all those seeking our help access to a comprehensive list of resources, available drug addiction professionals Cape wide, financial support, if available for treatment, and in the future, counseling via recovery coaches for both those waiting to enter a rehabilitation facility and after treatment. Through our services, community education, partnerships with local government agencies and healthcare providers, combined with our work towards positive policy reform, we hope to ultimately undo the stigma of drug addiction, end the cycle of addiction, and to prevent future drug abuse on Cape Cod.

Grieving & Growing continues into the winter ~

Grieving affects us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It takes courage to grieve and it can be very lonely. Together, we can help each other process our grief, so that we grow.

Join health educator and grief counselor, Betsy Simmons for these free supportive group sessions that will include quiet reflection, writing, sharing, poetry, and meditation.

Grieving & Growing is for anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one. Drop-ins throughout the program are welcome.
