🌎💫 Happy World Doula Week! 💫🌎

March 22nd - 28th is World Doula Week! Being a doula has changed my life in so many ways and I am so thankful to have gotten the opportunity to immerse myself in this work. I want to thank each and every single parent I have ever worked with because I am truly so honored and grateful to have been a part of your journey even if it was brief. Thank you to all of the amazing families, doula supporters, and most importantly the amazing doulas out there! This work is far from easy, but we all do it and love it anyway! Thank you so anyone who’s supported me on this journey I couldn’t have done it without all of the support. 💗

Emeralds birth was far from easy (as many of them are) and she surrendered with such grace. This mama did all of the work to prepare and absolutely rocked it when it came time to do so. I am so honored to of been a part of their journey, and every one of my clients journey. Here’s what she had to say about our time working together:

“Hiring Theanna as my doula was the best decision I made for pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Having a birth team and the necessary support made my entire experience beautiful and fun! I felt powerful having the knowledge and expertise to make all the informed decisions and preferences. There is so much to learn about labor and delivery and I highly recommend starting at the beginning of pregnancy. It was also incredibly helpful and necessary for my partner so he could be the best support for labor and delivery, and he also truly enjoyed learning everything. During labor she knew all the important things to do to help me progress and get through all the hardest parts. Labor and delivery would have not been the same without her there to help me every step of the way. I would absolutely hire her again myself. Having just the doctors and nurses is truly not enough for the whole experience. Too many women have traumatic unwanted experiences without a real support system and team. And I’m so glad I did my research and realized a birth doula is a must! Every single time I attend a birth, I am reminded how beautiful and precious life is. How strong and powerful women and people who give birth are. How amazing it is to see a group of people come together to support someone giving birth. This work is why I was put on this earth, it is my purpose. ❤️‍🔥✨
