We took over for Dr. Shelley when she retired. She had worked tirelessly caring for Easthampton for years and it was time to pass the torch. Dr. Shelley took us out for dinner to thank us for continuing to care for her practice members that she cared for so deeply. During our meal she mentored us on taking time out for our health as we cared for others, as she felt it was something that she should have done earlier for herself. We were grateful for the advice and that she cared enough to pass along her knowledge to us.

As we cared for Dr. Shelley's practice members we got to learn how much of an impact that she had made on their lives. They always asked how she was doing and what was knew in her life. We wished that we had made friends with her much earlier but we were both busy in our practices respectively. But from the short time that we did know Shelley she made an impact on our lives and we are grateful to have known her.
