We had a good time at Dogwood today, we played pass the pumpkin. Lots of confusion and giggles that’s for sure. Afterwards we sat around and reminisced about the good ole days and talked about how many pounds of cotton each could pick in a day. We ended the afternoon on the front porch enjoying the warmer weather we got today.

Yesterday we celebrated Mr. Charles “Charlie” Carmichael’s birthday. Happy 96th Birthday!

We had special visitors from Hospice Care Options today!
We don’t currently have any residents that are veterans, so today they did a special thank you to the residents at Dogwood Gardens that are veteran spouses.
We loved hearing all of the stories and seeing the smiles on their faces today.

Happy Friday!!
Today residents at Dogwood Gardens played a game called “pumpkin roll” with Georgia Hospice Care.
They all had a blast and loved their prizes. Afterwards we all enjoyed a slice of real pumpkin roll.

We had a very fun and festive time at Dogwood yesterday! Fair Day!
We enjoyed “mini turkey legs”, corn dogs, onion rings and delicious hot funnel cakes! Afterwards we played a few games, we definitely brought out the competitiveness in them. If someone did better than they just did then they wanted to try again to beat them. We had lots of laughs and everyone had such a great time!
