💝💐Mother’s Day at Abington 💐 💝

We couldn’t limit ourselves to just one day to celebrate the women of Abington and honor the mothers they loved, the beautiful families they raised, and all the mothering that is done by treasured Aunts, friends, and neighbors ❤️

From our Mother’s Day tea and discussion of strategies for motherhood and a rousing game of “Guess That Baby” with staff photos, to incredible portraiture taken by Kat Blackbird Photography — the celebrations have only continued to build with a special performance by Terry Kane!

We hope everyone has an equally heartfelt celebration this Mother’s Day weekend! 💖

🌮🎶 Yesterday, our Memory Care residents had a fiesta-filled day celebrating Cinco de Mayo! 💃🕺

From dancing and music to sombreros and lots of laughter, the day was filled with smiles and sweet moments shared together. Seeing our residents happy, engaged, and enjoying themselves is what it’s all about! ❤️

Thank you to our wonderful team for bringing the fun and helping create such joyful memories! 🌵🎉

We all had so much fun yesterday celebrating with walking tacos, an elaborate spread of salsas and guacamole, Sombrero Ringtoss, and the much anticipated piñata!!! It took our whole village, but we got that candy! Olè!

Our family dinners mean so much to us! Each month, the dining team comes up with a seasonally delicious menu, we gather everyone around the table, and enjoy each other's company. It can be hard to slow down and remember the little moments often create the most meaningful memories.

Guess what day it is? It's FOX Rehabilitation Friday! And it's !

Toni is our lead clinician, and we are so grateful for her warmth, expertise and initiative. Occupational therapy is a foundational pillar to the wellness of our residents as it enhances functional strength and mobility, while allowing them to remain engaged and independent. Thank you for always going above and beyond!

Happy Earth Day! 🌎💚

Today we came together in our best tree hugging attire! Jerry stepped in to direct the planting of our herb garden with Jill at FOX Rehabilitation, making sure we are set up for success this summer. We all enjoyed the Earth day folk stylings of Michael Patrick who arrived dressed to our theme. We are looking forward to more sun, more gardening, and more time in nature!✌🏼 ☮️ 🌼

Thank you to Carrie from the Easton Farmers' Market for visiting us today with delicious samples of fresh produce and a fruity smoothie! We learned impressive history of our town, (we have the longest running open air farmer’s market in America— it opened in 1752!), and enjoyed the scrapbook of photos from Easton’s early days! 🇺🇸 🍓
