When one of their kids gets a nosebleed, the Ford family doesn’t just reach for a tissue. With von Willebrand disease, a genetic condition that prevents blood from clotting properly, something small can quickly become serious.

Five members of their family are living with it, but with care from LVHN’s Hemophilia Treatment Center, they’ve stayed active, informed and supported through it all: https://bit.ly/3HqlaGj.

Eight ER float pool nurses are sharing more than shifts – they’re sharing the journey of pregnancy together. 🤰 This incredible group has built a support system just as strong as the care they provide to our patients every day. From coworkers to co-mamas, they’re showing that true teamwork extends far beyond the hospital walls. ❤️

From high school shadowing to critical care nursing, Morgan Anderson’s journey at LVHN is a testament to growth, compassion and lifelong learning. Starting as a patient transporter in 2020 and now a critical care nurse, she cares for patients with life-threatening conditions like COPD, sepsis and diabetic ketoacidosis in the critical care unit at LVH–Cedar Crest.

As the first in her family to pursue a medical career, Morgan says LVHN “made the picture clearer” and supported her every step of the way – from the Emerging Health Professionals Program to earning her nurse practitioner degree.

“I want to help my patients find their voice,” she says. 💙

If you had a total knee replacement at 7 a.m. would you think you could be home eating lunch by noon?

Rich Sniscak didn’t think so either. But after a same day total knee replacement at Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute, he walked out just hours later with less pain and no hospital stay.

Now he’s back to his routine without missing a step. Here's how it all happened: https://bit.ly/4ftw5Ma.
