The Village Maternal Holistic Wellness Center

The Village Maternal Holistic Wellness Center "The Village" is dedicated to providing a holistic approach to wellness for mothers and mothers-to-be on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

Our center offers a range of services and classes to support maternal health and wellness. "It takes a village to raise a child"

"The Village" is founded on the belief that healthy, well-taken care of, supported mothers are the cornerstone of every stable, happy family. Motherhood is both a physical and mental marathon. From the first pregnancy test to having adult children–your life will never b

e the same and your level of responsibility is so incredibly significant. Parenthood was never meant to be a solo or couple-only endeavor. Since the dawn of humanity, people have worked together as a community to raise their young. The Village is your home away from home where moms can receive the support they need to raise their families as the happiest, healthiest versions of themselves. Let The Village be your sanctuary when things get hard, your support when you need guidance, your outlet for difficult feelings and emotions, your motivation when the going gets tough, and your biggest cheerleader when you are working to support your own mental and physical health to be the best mother possible. You don’t have to do it alone. Motherhood is a sacrifice, but also the time of the most significant growth a woman can experience. The Village will educate you, physically and mentally prepare you for birth and parenthood, connect you with other mothers, and refer you to the health professionals that can help with your specific needs.

This isn’t just for business owners either.

This is for the moms rebuilding themselves, finding their rhythm again, creating something new, or simply getting through the day while raising little ones.

Building The Village hasn’t always been easy. There are so many small, unseen pieces that go into it, from cleaning and sanitizing after events, to scheduling, answering messages, planning classes, coordinating with providers, and staying connected with all of you.
And all of that while being a momma, too.

I love what I do so much, but it takes time. It didn’t happen overnight, and it’s still growing slowly, step by step.

But that doesn’t make it any less meaningful.

Whether you’re building a business, a new version of yourself, your home, or your family, it all counts. The slow days, the tired days, the in-between moments… they all matter.

You’re not behind. You’re building something real and that takes time.

Meet ! Brittanie is a provider who’s been part of The Village for a while now, and so many mamas have found support through 🤍

Whether you’re pregnant or postpartum, she’s here to help you feel more confident in your feeding journey. A lot of our Village moms have shared how scheduling a visit during pregnancy was SO helpful in preparing and getting their questions answered early.

Brittanie and her colleagues at Milk & Honey, Kesha and Caroline, stay up to date on the latest breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and pumping education, so you’re getting current, evidence-based care. You can meet them here at The Village in Easton, MD, at their office in Camden, DE, or even connect virtually.

So much news recently! I am so grateful to share that I have been nominated as a 2026 Woman to Watch Chesapeake in the Women to Watch Magazine by Adam's MultiMedia for the second year in a row! It's such an honor to be nominated for a program that "spotlights the work, dedication, talents and community service of women on the Eastern Shore who continue to lead in their respective fields and those who embody strength, leadership and integrity for our community".

The Village wouldn’t be what it is without the moms who show up, the providers who pour so much into their work, and the community that continues to support it all. It’s really special to see the time, care, and heart that’s gone into creating this space for families be recognized in this way.

Thank you for being a part of The Village!

I’m so excited to share that I was chosen to be part of the Shore Leadership Class of 2026 Shore Leadership, a program through the Mid-Shore Community Foundation that brings together those who are passionate about their communities on the Eastern Shore.

Over the next nine months, I’ll be alongside a small group from different industries and backgrounds, spending time in a different county each month. We’ll be learning from local organizations, professionals, and community voices that help shape the Eastern Shore, while gaining a deeper understanding of the area and how everything connects.

The sessions are taught by Leadership Facilitators: Celeste Raver, PhD., Director of Senate Joint Office of Training and Development of the United States Senate Sergeant at Arms, and Joe Thomas, PhD., Director of the Vice Admiral James B. Stockdale Center for Ethical Leadership at the United States Naval Academy. Throughout the program, we’ll be focusing on topics like legacy, technology, economic development, community and arts, environment, education, and government, and how they impact life here on the Eastern Shore.

I’m really looking forward to bringing this experience back to The Village and creating deeper support for our Eastern Shore mommas and their families. It's such an honor to be selected among such an incredible group of local leaders, and I truly can’t wait to learn and grow alongside them.

I’m so excited for what’s ahead 🤍
