This is a very common issue for students who have dyslexia. The act of reading itself requires so much focus for them, and is so exhausting, that they often have trouble absorbing what they are reading. Audiobooks give all students access to literature. Don't be afraid to use them in the classroom and at home. Instill a love for a good story early on and children will be eager to read more.
