When to Seek Help: Therapy Myths — True or False?
Let’s test your knowledge! How many of these therapy myths can you spot?

1️⃣ Therapy is only for people in crisis.
❌ False – Therapy is for anyone who wants support, clarity, or personal growth.

2️⃣ If I talk to my friends, I don’t need therapy.
❌ False – Friends are great, but therapists are trained to help you work through challenges in a deeper, more objective way.

3️⃣ Going to therapy means I’m weak.
❌ False – It takes strength and self-awareness to ask for help.

Bottom line: Therapy can benefit everyone. Don’t wait for a crisis.

Let’s Talk Stigma
Mental health matters in every community—but stigma can make it harder for marginalized communities to seek the care they deserve.

Here's how we can promote wellness together:
🔹 Normalize conversations around mental health
🔹 Highlight culturally competent providers
🔹 Share real stories and lived experiences
🔹 Support one another with empathy and respect

Everyone deserves access to care, healing, and hope. Let’s break the silence and lift each other up.

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month
Let’s break the stereotype: Strength isn’t staying silent—it’s speaking up, checking in, and taking care of yourself.

This month, we’re reminding men that mental health matters just as much as physical health.
You can be tough and take care of your mind. You can be vulnerable and be respected. You can need help—and still be strong.

Let’s normalize self-care for men. Tag a friend to check in.

Burnout is real.
Emotional exhaustion can sneak up on anyone—especially when you're constantly giving your time and energy to others.
This summer, let’s prioritize rest and recovery. Here are a few ways to avoid burnout and feel refreshed:
✅ Take that vacation – You’ve earned your PTO. Use it!
✅ Plan a staycation – Rest doesn’t have to be expensive or far away.
✅ Unplug – Step away from screens after hours and spend time outdoors.
✅ Do something you love – Read, garden, walk, dance—whatever brings you joy.
✅ Set boundaries – It’s okay to say no. Protect your peace.

Your mental health matters. Prioritize it.

Checking in on your loved ones.
Sometimes the smallest gestures have the biggest impact. A simple “How are you?” can open the door to meaningful conversations, emotional support, and a sense of connection. Whether it’s a quick text, a phone call, or a coffee date, showing someone you care could make their day—or even change their life.

Let’s remind each other that no one has to face life’s challenges alone.

Struggling with anxiety?
You're not alone—and there are ways to cope.
Anxiety can show up in many forms, but with the right strategies, it’s possible to regain calm and control. Here are a few practical tips:

✅ Deep breathing – Try box breathing: inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold again for 4. Repeat.
✅ Limit stimulants – Too much caffeine or sugar can heighten anxiety. Try herbal tea or a balanced snack instead.
✅ Stay grounded – Use a grounding technique like the 5-4-3-2-1 method to connect with the present moment.
✅ Talk it out – Whether it's a friend, a journal, or a therapist, expressing how you feel can help lighten the load.
✅ Move your body – A short walk, stretch, or dance break can release tension and clear your head.

Remember: It's okay to ask for help. Small steps can lead to big relief.
