I’ve always been very interested in astrology but I truly started to use it psychologically and understand it on a deeper level after I had my kids.

Astrology is usually very accurate for children because they haven’t had societal norms be put on them to act certain ways yet. When they’re young they are usually their true authentic selves and I believe that’s what our birth charts can tell us about ourselves.

One of my favorite readings to do is a synastry birth chart reading for a parent and child. I love seeing and telling people their commonalities and even possible past life connections they have with their children.

Some examples of things that astrology helped me with, with understanding my kids:

From the moment my daughter was born she was very sensitive, emotional and deeply intuitive. If you look at her chart you can see all of her major planets are water signs (Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio) therefore she’s going to feel like a very “watery” person - sensitive, emotional and intuitive. It all made so much sense to me. It’s helped me parent her better and understand her needs on a deeper level.

From the moment my son was born he had a very laid back demeanor. He is hilarious and super outgoing. He has heavy earth placements and a lot of fire and air in his major planets. His mercury (planet that rules communication) is in Aries and in his third house (house of Gemini and communication) so he’s going to be quick witted, outspoken and not afraid to talk to anyone - all things he is. Knowing he has not many water placements I try to encourage him to be comfortable with his emotions since it might not come natural when he gets older.

A lot of my clients ask me how you can tell the difference between anxiety and intuition. Sometimes it can be hard to determine if you’re new to discovering your intuition.

In my opinion the best way to identify intuition vs anxiety is with intuition there isn’t an emotion attached. It’s a very clear knowing and it comes from a more steady grounded place. Intuition feels confident and can feel urgent but never scary. Anxiety usually manifests in your chest or your belly and it can make you feel very unsteady, unpleasant and worried.

If you find yourself worrying about something specific and are having a hard time identifying it it’s intuition or anxiety ask yourself again “do you really think that’s going to happen?” And don’t give yourself time to think, go with the immediate instinctual response you hear. If you start second guessing yourself it’s most likely anxiety.

Growing your intuition can be one of the best ways you can combat anxiety and learn to trust yourself 💜🔮

I don’t often meet pink aura people as adults because I believe a lot of times our society tends to harden their ever so optimistic ways. Pinks are some of the most positive lovers of life you can meet. They love beautiful things and have an amazing way of truly seeing the beauty in everything. Sometimes they can be stubborn in their views and refuse to see things as bad, they can look at the world through rose colored glasses. But sometimes this can work manifestation magic! Pinks also take self care very seriously. They have a special connection to children because I think they give off a very childlike energy, they can feel like pure sunshine. ☀️ 💖

Purple people are fun loving, spontaneous, creative, artistic, outspoken, sometimes impulsive, rebellious, really can’t get down with a 9-5 & some of the most nonjudgmental people you’ll ever meet. Purple people feel the vibes and energy quickly and love to channel their intuition through using crystals or tarot cards. 💜☯️🔮

What is shadow work? The shadow is the repressed parts of ourselves that we find ourselves disliking or feel like we cannot tolerate acknowledging their existence. Shadow work is the unification of who we consciously are, with the parts of ourselves that we repress and avoid. Shadow work is not easy but we all must work on our hidden and repressed parts of ourselves in order to heal and be complete.

My favorite reiki experience to tell my clients who are considering reiki is the time my good friend and reiki Practitioner (Elizabeth) did reiki for me the day after I had surgery. I had the same exact surgery two years prior and my recovery after reiki was 10 million times faster than previously. Nothing changed except for reiki! It’s truly so healing. 💜
