We are incredibly grateful to Food Lion for their generous donation in providing the main course for our Youth Holiday Party!

Because of their kindness and community spirit, our youth were able to enjoy a warm, delicious meal that helped make the celebration feel extra special. Acts of generosity like this go beyond the table; they create moments of joy, connection, and holiday cheer that our youth will remember long after the season ends.

Chesapeake College Announces New Vice President for Administrative Services

Chesapeake College has announced the appointment of Milton Nagel, CPA, as its next Vice President for Administrative Services. Milton brings a distinguished record of financial leadership, strategic insight, and public service to this role.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Milton is a valued member of the Channel Marker community, currently serving as Board Treasurer, where his expertise and thoughtful stewardship have been instrumental to our organization’s success. He also previously served with distinction on the Chesapeake College Board of Trustees, further reflecting his longstanding commitment to higher education and community leadership.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Milton on this well-earned appointment and wish him continued success as he advances Chesapeake College’s mission through excellence in administrative leadership.

Our team got into the holiday spirit with a festive burst of creativity at this year’s Staff Holiday Paint Event, led by instructors Karren and Jean of PaintNite. Staff turned into artists, bringing their own unique style to the canvas — and the results were nothing short of magical.

Thank you to our instructors for keeping things fun, festive, and creative — and to our staff for diving in with such great energy. Moments like this remind us how meaningful it is to slow down, unwind together, and make something beautiful.
