For my Friend, Teacher and Mentor John F Barnes… RIP 🙏
𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝑾𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒏 𝑾𝒉𝒐 𝑲𝒏𝒆𝒘
“There was a man who knew—
long before the world was ready.
Years ago, he carried a vision,
and in that time
he walked alone,
a dreamer listening
to something unseen.
He followed his heart
when there was no map,
no proof—
only trust.
The man who knew, and grew,
and in his growing
we became witnesses
to the silver cord, quietly, faithfully
binding us all.
He spread love and light,
thread by thread,
pulling the past forward
into a future’s gentle blast.
He knew where to go
by learning
how to let go.
Now he rests
so we may rise.
He fell asleep
to leave us space—
to fill the gap,
to carry forward,
to lift into glory the art of his lifetime.
And through our loving hands,
our stillness,
our listening—
his knowing
lives on.”

Take a few minutes to release your neck!
➡️ Side bend your neck right until you feel a gentle stretch.
➡️ Drop the left shoulder. Hold.
➡️ As the stretch eases, take up the slack and bend further.
➡️ Stand up straight.
➡️ Take up the slack and go to the next barrier. Hold.
➡️ Now drop the head forward. Wait at that barrier.
➡️ Breathe
➡️ After that barrier eases, drop your head backwards until you feel the stretch.
➡️ Wait. Take up the slack and stretch further.
➡️ Wait.
➡️ Gently release.
➡️ Smile 😀

Mallory is Jane’s virtual assistant and client! She supports Jane by helping with client services and scheduling, as well as, managing social media and marketing for SerendipPT.
She is fortunate enough to travel and loves the adventure of exploring some place new. Here, she is in the Dolomites/Italian Alps in northern Italy.
The hike she was on was incredible and the trail led to a group of ponies that were completely blocking the trail.
Mallory happens to find horses intimidating as she has had very few encounters with them. While she would love to be more comfortable around them, this unexpected encounter really challenged her comfort.
Luckily, another hiker came up and explained how friendly they are, began to pet them and encouraged her to continue through them.
Are you scared of horses?

Here is how to create a long lasting change in your fascia according to the Myofascial Release Principals! 🙌
In order to create the space where your soft connective tissue, or fascia, can truly release, you need to give it the time it needs!
Get in your stretch and feel for that edge or place where you’re getting sensation without it feeling painful. Stay there, mindfully breathe and feel for your fascia to relax and release. Take a breath and elongate further while telescoping towards your next edge. Breathe and wait here to feel your tissue release even more.
Healing yourself and treating the body holistically isn’t a quick fix. It’s not a pill you take to dull the pain or an injection to calm the nerve. It’s a path of dedication, commitment, time and intention. Bring more intention into your self-care and movement.

We have all been there! We are heading out the door and go p*e - Just In Case… not necessarily because we have a full bladder, but because we are passing the bathroom and figure we might as well urinate before we leave.
While this may seem harmless, we are actually creating a bad habit for our bladder. By convenience voiding or “JIC” p*eing, we are actually lowering the our bladder’s threshold for signaling us that it is time to p*e. This can create bladder urgency and frequency.
Do not worry! We can help! By becoming aware of this habit and mindfully choosing to wait until your bladder is actually full, you can break this habit! Incontinence, bladder health and habits is a part of our specialty at SerendipPT!

After having tried several medications, which did not relieve my symptoms, My doctor highly recommended I give Myofascial Release and Dry needling a try. The pain in my body has reduced significantly since [my] first treatment. I attribute this success to Mrs. Franczak’s extensive knowledge of the medical part of her job and her obvious interest in her patient’s health and healing. Her understanding of the application of techniques are remarkable and quite impressive. Krys K, Easton, MD
Jane has magic hands! Besides my chiropractor, Jane has been the only one who can reach the problem areas in my body. I can feel the magic in her touch as she accesses the issues. I am so glad that I found her! Karin S. Cambridge, MD
