Movement should support your well-being—not feel like a punishment. But in a culture that glorifies “no days off” and “burning off” food, it can be hard to tell the difference between gentle movement and overexercise.

Reminder: Movement doesn’t have to be intense to be beneficial. All movement counts. The best kind is the kind that makes you feel good.

Here are some different ways exercise can look:
Low-Impact Movement – Walking, yoga, stretching, tai chi, mobility exercises
Playful Movement – Dancing, roller skating, hula hooping, jumping on a trampoline
Outdoor Movement – Hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, biking, gardening
Strength-Based Movement – Bodyweight exercises, Pilates, resistance training
Social Movement – Group fitness, recreational sports, playing tag with kids
Restorative Movement – Breathwork, gentle stretching, restorative yoga

Your body is constantly sending you messages! Take a moment to check in with yourself—how do you feel physically, emotionally, and mentally?

Are you hungry or full?
Do you need rest or movement?
Are you feeling stressed or relaxed?

Listening to your body helps you respond to its needs, not societal expectations.

Misinformation about health is everywhere—especially when it comes to food, weight, and nutrition. Many so-called “truths” are actually rooted in diet culture, NOT science. Today, we challenge you to question the health myths you’ve heard.

Who benefits from these messages? Are they backed by real evidence? The more we fact-check, the more we can break free from harmful narratives and focus on overall well-being.

Numbers don’t define us! Today, celebrate a win that has nothing to do with weight, calories, or numbers. Did you try a new food? Wear something comfy? Speak up in a tough moment? Rest when your body needed it?

Food is meant to be enjoyed, not feared. Today, we invite you to take one step toward food freedom—whether that means eating a fear food, allowing yourself to enjoy a meal without guilt, or tuning into what your body truly wants.

Diet culture teaches us to follow food rules, but true well-being comes from trusting your body and honoring its needs. How will you explore food freedom today? Let us know in the comments!

Let’s kick off 2025 by practicing self-compassion. Today, choose 3 kind or neutral statements to describe your body. Focus on function and appreciation, not appearance. You don’t have to love your body to respect it.

Example: ‘I’m grateful for my legs that help me move through my day." "My hands allow me to create and express myself." "My stomach digests the food I eat and gives me energy." "My voice allows me to share my thoughts and connect with others."

What are your 3 statements? Share them below!

Not everything you see on the mirror is the reality 🪞

Many factors can influence how you see yourself, and it's important to be aware of them.
Here's what can play a sneaky trick on your body image ⬇️

😞Mood Swings: Feeling stressed, anxious, or down can make you feel more critical of your appearance.

🎈Bloating (it happens to everyone!): Your body fluctuates throughout the day and month – bloating is a normal part of that!

💡Lighting Matters: Harsh overhead lighting can cast unflattering shadows.

👗Clothes you’re wearing: Clothes that don't fit well can feel uncomfortable and restrict movement. Embrace clothes that make you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin!

📷Photo angle: Group photos and selfies can be deceiving depending on the angle. Focus on capturing joyful moments with friends, not achieving the "perfect" pose.

Ready to shift your perspective and embrace a healthier body image? Let's work together to uncover the factors influencing how you see yourself and build a positive relationship with your body! (now accepting NEW clients!)
