Day 1 of Menopause Society: today was a focus on perimenopause and it kept coming up over and over again how the IUD is a great tool for addressing bleeding irregularities of perimenopause, serving as highly reliable contraception, and providing endometrial protection for women who choose to add an estrogen (patch or pill) for hot flashes or other symptoms of menopause

It was amazing to be able to talk to the community about fertility- let's bring conversations about trying to conceive out in the open!

UM Shore Medical Group-Women's Health providers recently presented at The Village Maternal Holistic Wellness Center in Easton during a free seminar on fertility evaluation and treatment options on the Eastern Shore.

They were able to answer questions from community members, as well as share their knowledge on what to expect during fertility testing, explore common diagnoses like PCOS and unexplained fertility, and hear about options like IUI and ovulation induction.
