Leon, one of our long-term care residents at Easton Skilled Nursing, received some very special visitors today- his kindergarten class! Yes, kindergarten! 😊

This incredible group of friends has stayed close for decades. They first met in kindergarten and have continued the tradition of getting together over the years. In fact, they visit Leon at least twice a year.

And they made sure we mention one important detail: they all graduated grade school together in 1964- not high school… because that would make them older! 😂

Today the gang spent time together sharing stories, laughter, and memories that stretch back a lifetime. It’s truly inspiring to see a friendship that has lasted so many years.

We were honored to host them and be part of such a special reunion❣️

Last month, we celebrated Black History month with lots of activities and trivia. But on Friday we held a Pot Luck focused on Black Culture. The staff at Easton did not disappoint with some of the finest home cooked Soul Food in the area!

As one of our 12 Days of Christmas, Easton Skilled Nursing celebrated with a Holiday Meal for staff. The room was filled with delicious food, lots of laughs and holiday spirit. A Huge Thank You to our Dietary Director George and his assistant Jenn for the awesome spread, DON Kaleema Johnson and Administrator Chaim Gaermam, aka Nossi for making this a special day for all!!

I came to Easton Skilled Nursing after a brief hospital stay at St. Luke's Anderson. I was weak and needed some rehab before returning home. Zach, Kelly and Debbie from the therapy team gave me the encouragement and helped strengthen my body, so I was able to return home safely. All three of them were excellent. Speech therapy even helped with my swallowing. Thank you to all the staff. I would recommend Easton Skilled Nursing and Rehab to anyone needing therapy.
