Future Midwifery Student at Frontier Nursing University (The Farm), Hayden, Kentucky- Ina May Gaskin. Specializing in Home Birthing, Water Birthing, Birth Center Birthing, Hospital Birthing, VBAC, & Chld Birth Education. "Tiny", Valentine Blackwell Alexander was my Gracious & Fearlessly Strong Grandmother. She Birthed 16 Amazing Children, with my Grandfather. All of which were birthed at home. I have always been amazed by her legacy of Mothering & Spirituality and my Life's work will carry on this passion she had for Mothering. Tiny's Birthing House is birthed out of an identified need for returning to the "Old Paths" of Traditional Birthing. A time of God's sacred hand upon Women. A time of great introspection & development as Women. A time of a Great Miracle. A Time of being Favored by God. A time of connecting with other Women. A time of preparation to Love, Nurture, & Support future Generations. Tiny's Birthing House incorporates many Family Traditions of Family Planning, Home Birthing, Doula & Midwifery Support, Breastfeeding, Organic Household Gardening, Organic Meal Planning, Organic Baby Feeding, Spiritual & Sacred Foundations, & Meditations and Prayers of The Mothers of Old. We exist to:

Journey with Women transitioning from Maiden to Mother. Reconnect Women with their God given ability of Mothering & Nurturing a Family. Educate & empower women to be Knowledgeable, Informed and Prepared to Birth Generations and Maintain a Family. Build a Community of Mothers knit together by the thread of Mothering. With the sole purpose of Mothering Generations that will touch the world & influence the culture through Families. Support all Mothers- Teen Mothers, Single Mothers, Foster Mothers, Married Mothers, Surrogate Mothers, etc.. We exist to answer the call of Mothering!

Yesterday we set up our “Mash” Tent Hospital. Lots of planning and organizing to take care of our patients. Continue to be “Safer At Home” as this helps us to be able to take care of the very sick & fragile of our communities. Yes, I’m scared as I’m going into work every day. Yes, I’m sometimes on the verge of crying and freaking out. But “My Team” of Physicians, Nurses, & EMTs...We stick together and help each other out. Prayers for Courage as we “Slay The Dragon” Of Covid-19! 🐉
