The Pink Moon in Libra 🩷🌕invites us back into balance- within ourselves and our relationships.

Six months ago in October, the new moon in Libra began the cycle. Perhaps you set some intentions around a particular relationship - intimate, personal, or even in your work.

Now under the full moon we begin to see what has unfolded and grown. We notice what feels steady and what feels out of alignment.

It’s a return to honesty and a willingness to notice where more grace, beauty and balance are calling you.

Libra also calls in an awareness of beauty - we might feel a call to beautify our surroundings, our bodies, and our routines. Not for perfection, but in ways that feel nourishing and true to you.🌹

This is a first of three Full moons this spring that mirror the unfolding of spring happening all around, and within us🌸

Introducing the animals of Sacred Moon Farm😊

Everyone always asks if we have actual farm animals… well, no. But we do consider these characters a big part of Sacred Moon 🌙

The two oranges 🍊
Mila, our sweet, playful retriever, loves making the rounds with us on the farm. She’s always part of the cleanup, setup, planting—well, everything we do.

Pablo, our “regal” (and slightly plump) orange cat, is our comic relief. He mostly stays inside during the day, then heads out after dark to make his nighttime rounds before scurrying back in for bedtime.

We also have four outdoor farm cats — Mama Patches, Felix, and a visiting tomcat friend we’ve called Buddy. We’ve fed them by hand and had them all spayed and neutered (except for the tom—we don’t know who he is, and we can’t catch him!). They’re not very touchable, but they show up every morning and evening for food and stay cozy in their little cat houses during the winter.

And then we have the true mascot of Sacred Moon…
Luna, our calico queen. She’s the eldest, the matriarch, and the project manager of Sacred Moon. Nothing escapes her watchful eye—she monitors everything and must know all that’s going on. Some of you may have seen her at the end of events, making sure everything is running smoothly. She keeps the outdoor cats in line, loves the evening fires, and her favorite thing in the whole wide world is Mila. She spends most of her time trying to be wherever Mila is.💗

That’s the crew 💫
And they love having you at the farm just as much as we do.

Are you feeling overwhelmed?

Were you counting the days to spring and then suddenly once it arrived -everything feels like it’s moving too fast?

Even though we may feel full of energy, it may feel like chaotic energy—we’re Activated— and not sure what to do first.

We’ve been talking a lot about that in our house this week.

My mind is racing with calendar planning, events, work, spring cleaning, seed planting …there’s still this feeling of so much to do all at once!

And it’s not just in our heads —there’s physical shifts happening too—more light, more stimulation, more cortisol. Our days are longer, but our bodies are still coming out of winter.

Sunlight can boost serotonin, which improves mood, but sometimes that increased activation can also feel like restlessness, irritability or agitation before it feels like ease.

Part of us is still in that slower or quieter season, even as everything around us speeds up. Astrologically this makes sense too. We moved from Pisces season, which is soft, inward and reflective, into Aries 🔥season, which is fast and forward moving.

It can feel like a jolt. It can feel like our nervous system is trying to catch up.

Maybe the invitation isn’t to try to match the pace, but to be a little more gentle. Soon we’ll feel into the flow. It’s OK to arrive there a little more slowly.🦋

Yesterday I sat up in my little attic studio and listened to the wind whip around the farmhouse. Even the bouquet of flowers on my desk trembled as the wind shook the walls.

It is March.

In like a lion, out like a lamb.
The Spring Equinox.
Rain, wind, snow, sunshine.

The air smells different.
The earth is warming.
We begin to dream again.

We’re in that in-between space right now — the final days of Pisces, just before Aries arrives with fire, movement, and new beginnings.

The winds have been strong lately.

They're clearing. They're carrying seeds we can't even see.
Shaking loose what isn’t stable.
Carrying away what’s no longer rooted.

It can feel chaotic, but it’s purposeful.

This is a threshold moment.

What is no longer strong enough may need to go.
What is ready to begin again is quietly gathering beneath the surface.

The ground softens before it blooms.
So do we.

As we move into Aries season and the Spring Equinox, everything begins to shift toward action and initiative. We start to-do lists in our minds and jot them on paper. We're ready to begin again.

I shared a full reflection + what this means for each sign (Aries through Pisces) in today’s email 💫

If you'd like to read more, comment 'send' and I'll sign you up to our newsletter list.

If you’re on my list, check your inbox!

And as we step into this new season, we’ll be gathering soon at Sacred Moon Farm for our Community Seed Planting Day on May 1 from 4-7 p.m. -- a chance to welcome spring and celebrate new beginnings under the Full Flower Moon🌕 We can't wait to see our friends and community again!🌷
