🌕✨ September 7, 2025 – The Blood Moon is Coming!

On the night of September 7, 2025, the skies will treat us to a breathtaking Total Lunar Eclipse, also known as a Blood Moon. During this rare celestial event, Earth’s shadow will completely cover the Moon, painting it in deep shades of red and copper.

🔭 Why does it turn red?
As sunlight passes through Earth’s atmosphere, shorter blue wavelengths are scattered away while the longer red wavelengths bend around the planet and illuminate the Moon. This is the same effect that makes sunsets glow red.

🌍 Where can it be seen?
The eclipse will be widely visible across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and parts of Asia. For many, it will be an all-night spectacle — with the Moon rising already in eclipse for some, and setting dramatically red for others.

⏰ Best viewing tip:
Find a dark spot away from city lights, look to the sky after sunset, and watch the Moon slowly transform into a glowing ember. No telescope is needed — just your eyes!
