🍞Bread, sauerkraut, wine, beer, kimchi, yogurt… What do these delicious foods have in common? They’re all made possible by fermentation—a microscopic process with mighty tasty results.
Join OSU Extension Educator Savannah Ballweg to learn about the science behind this interaction between plants, bacteria, and fungi, and the roles these products play in our diets.
Fundamentals of Fermentation: Tuesday, August 19 at 6 pm at the Eaton Library.

No registration required for this all-ages program.

The West Elkton Branch will be holding its first annual Patron Appreciation Day on Thursday, August 14th, from 2:00pm-5:00pm.

We would like to show our appreciation for the community's support! Everyone who walks in our door is an important part of our branch. We have the privilege to serve many folks, from kids to teens and adults. Everyone has given in one way or another, whether it be a donation of snacks for the kids, a helping hand, or a kind word, just to name a few! So, please join us for a day of fun games, raffles, and good food! And if you have never visited us, we welcome you too! We have a wonderful little library that offers ongoing games, events, and many great materials to borrow!
We hope to see you there!
