If holiday stress is effecting you, give yourself the gift of taking a quick break… as often as you need to.
Here is one very simplified method:
1. Sit down in a quiet place where you wont be interrupted for a few minutes
2. Close your eyes
3. Take in a deep slow breath & slowly exhale
5. Repeat the phrase “I am calm & in control.”
6. Breathe deeply & continue allowing yourself to ‘let go’ until you feel the release of tension
7. Say to yourself “now I am wide awake, aware, alert, & ready to complete this great day”
8. Open your eyes, smile, stretch, and continue with your day

Feb 2024 UPDATE: I had hoped to return to my office & seeing clients by this time but its not turning out that way. Instead, the battle with cancer continues. With many prayers, we’re believing daily that things will improve. Until then, all we can do is wait. With that said, Im now hoping by April I’ll be back to work.
