If holiday stress is effecting you, give yourself the gift of taking a quick break… as often as you need to.
Here is one very simplified method:
1. Sit down in a quiet place where you wont be interrupted for a few minutes
2. Close your eyes
3. Take in a deep slow breath & slowly exhale
5. Repeat the phrase “I am calm & in control.”
6. Breathe deeply & continue allowing yourself to ‘let go’ until you feel the release of tension
7. Say to yourself “now I am wide awake, aware, alert, & ready to complete this great day”
8. Open your eyes, smile, stretch, and continue with your day
