One of our mock codes. Obviously time is sped up and meds aren’t direct orders, etc… but I felt that having a refresher course on where things are, what everyone’s roles are, and what’s expected of them, communication by the team lead, and quick reaction time was imperative and it’s important to do from time to time despite taking our ACLS as you never know. Just another reason why we take the best care of you at !

Acute limb ischemia = vascular emergency. This is a huge topic of education for our PAD population of patients. We educate them on the signs and symptoms of ALI, as time is tissue. Early recognition and rapid intervention are keys for limb salvage. This is a 17 inch thrombus removed via mechanical thrombectomy, restoring perfusion, function, and future for a patient.

✨We offer sclerotherapy treatment for those pesky spider veins! These before/after photos are from a patient before vs one month after her first sclerotherapy treatment. Typically, patients can see desirable results within 2-4 visits, (each visit a minimum of 4 weeks apart). LimFlow (percutaneous deep vein arterialization), AKA as the ‘Hail Mary’ of limb salvage. These are results from one of our patients! Being able to offer a potential limb salvaging treatment when all other options have failed and patients are facing potential BKA and AKA, allows us to give those patients a chance at saving a limb which may otherwise have to be amputated. However, there is strict patient criteria for this procedure and - ✨we are one of very few centers who offer this procedure in our area ✨
