Malvika- - Physical Therapy Tech

We’re excited to spotlight Malvika, one of our techs at Healing Star Physical Therapy and Wellness!

One of Malvika’s favorite things about working at Healing Star is the people, the energy, and of course, our lovely patients. She loves the genuine care our team shows one another and the kindness that carries into every patient interaction, which makes each day feel extra meaningful.

One of the most rewarding parts of her job is seeing patients make progress — especially when someone goes from saying they could not sleep because of pain to later sharing that they finally got the best night’s sleep. Moments like that mean so much.

Malvika also loves helping patients understand that physical therapy is about more than just where it hurts. Sometimes knee pain is not really coming from the knee itself, but from another area of the body or from the way the body has been compensating.

Malvika’s advice for patients: “Being consistent makes such a big difference on the road to recovery, and every effort counts. Motion is lotion, so being active and moving your body daily goes a long way.”

Riley chose physical therapy because he wanted a career where he could connect with people from all different backgrounds while helping them reduce pain and improve their quality of life. Her specialty? Hands and upper extremities, including orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.
