The shortest month of the year often feels the longest, especially for those with Seasonal Affective Disorder. If this is you, consider taking vitamin D to improve mood and energy level levels. Of course, always check with your doctor first. I highly recommend getting blood work done this time of year to check vitamin D levels and see if you could use a boost! ☀️🙌🏼💫

I’m so happy to welcome Shain Falk to Coastal Counseling & Healing Center 💛💫
Shain is now offering in-person and virtual individual & group therapy for teens and adults.

Shain brings a calm, grounded, and deeply attuned presence to her work. She believes clarity often begins in the body — and helps clients slow down, tune in, and reconnect with what their mind and nervous system are trying to communicate.

She works with clients navigating:
• life transitions
• identity exploration
• relationship & family stress
• anxiety, depression & overwhelm
• PTSD and trauma
• feeling “stuck” or out of rhythm

Her approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, integrating grounding and nervous-system awareness so therapy isn’t just about talking — it’s about feeling more present, regulated, and at home in yourself.

Clients often describe Shain as calming, relatable, and deeply present — someone who listens to the whole person, not just the words.

Shain is a Mental Health Counseling Intern in her final year at Bellevue University, and we’re thrilled to have her energy, insight, and steadiness as part of our practice!
