Great news… Oceanport Paddle Club has officially been approved for Horizon bFit! 🙌
First off — thank you to everyone who nominated OPC. It worked!
Now here’s where it gets interesting…
You can actually get paid to paddle.
If you have Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield and use the ActiveFit app, Horizon reimburses you for working out — and they direct deposit the money right into the bank account of your choice.
Let’s do the math:
Imagine a family with 4 members over 18 on the same plan.
Each person can earn $20 per month for completing their workouts.
That’s $80 per month for the family.
Come paddle at Oceanport Paddle Club from May through September (5 months) and that’s $400 back from your insurance company.
And here’s the kicker…
A Family Seasonal Membership at OPC is only $150.
That means you could actually put $250 in your pocket just for becoming members and enjoying the river.
