It was HOT. Muggy. Gross. Hard to breathe. But we did it. 🤣🥵

A little slower this week compared to last week with the weather and my lungs being taken over by a cough, but I got a second place medal for the 22-34 y.o. age group of women!! 💪

Watching the little kids run was adorable and I hope our kiddos will want to run with me some day! 🥹

My Dad also came by to say hello at the end of our race! 🦅🥹😍😭

Green Bay Packer 5k 2025!! 💪

Other than slightly muggy, it was a beautiful morning for a 5k!!

Could've had a bit faster/better time if I could've weaved through the crowd of people more in the first two blocks, but I still finished just a bit faster than last year!!

Even had my Lil fam bam with to cheer me on today! 😍🥹❤️

And for a beautiful cause! To help end the cycle of human trafficking through Fierce Freedom and their programs! ❤️
I just heard about this event/program Monday!!

I give lots of credit to parents who push kids in strollers in any run, but dang! I was kinda beat after just one 2 mile loop pushing Brandi in our new jogging stroller!!

Granted, I've never practiced before with it. Literally picked it up yesterday, and I had to do a hill right away with her.. and still did 2 miles in around 20 minutes.. so... I guess I didnt do too bad lol, but still. Woof.

We grabbed some wonderful eats from the food trucks afterwards! Highly recommend them all, because YUM. 😍🤤

Ooo-weee! Love Yourself Massage Therapy LLC has been sooo busy!

Massaging and running up a storm! Along with family time over the 4th of July! 🥰🥰🥰
I feel like I can finally breathe now. 🤣

So it's time for some catch up posting!

July 4th was race #13 - - F-eau-rth of July 5k!
It was HOT and muggy, but we survived!!

July 5th was the Run For The Bacon 5k in my lovely hometown, Augusta! 🤗🥓
I had a blast hosting and sponsoring my very first 5k! We had a beautiful turnout of 45 people!
I cannot wait to host/sponsor again next year, because this totally filled my cup! 😍😭😍😭

And lastly, July 13th was race #14! !! It was a beautiful morning for a run through Irvine Park! 😎☀️

So many beautifully fun things happening in life and I love that y'all are on this journey with me!! Been loving all of your support and encouragement!! Thank you! ❤️

And I appreciate all of your flexibility with all of my time off so I can hit this goal/accomplishment of 30 races for 2025! 🙏❤️🫶

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!! 🇺🇸

Almost halfway there!

Lucky number 1️⃣3️⃣!!

Eau Claire Marathon !!

It was HOT, sweaty, muggy, and 92⁰ this morning🥵 at 8am for our run, but it was beautiful running on the Putnam Trail!!
(Was actually my first time ever being on that trail 🤣😅)

Finished in 28:16 at 9th out of 57 for my age group, and finished 140th out of 558 total runners!! 💪🔥

The merch today is absolutely adorable! Sunglasses and case, beach towel, and medal! 😍😍😍 Super stinkin cute!! 😍

10 years ago TODAY, I had my very first day as a licensed professional massage therapist.

And it all started because of this man. My Dad. ♥️

When I was about 7 y.o., a sister of mine and I would give Dad back rubs when he got home from work.
And that's where the magic began. ✨️

Even though he isn't here in flesh and blood anymore, I know that he's here working in my hands with me. 🤲

After all, he too was a gifted, crafty, handyman himself who made beautiful things with his bare hands. ♥️

I never had intentions of having my own business. - I just didn't want the stress. 🤣🤣

But after 7 years of working for someone and seeing what they made off of what I did, and learning that I was gonna become a Momma of two.. I wanted MORE.
For ME. For US. For THEM.

And it is through the journey of becoming a mom, Love Yourself Massage Therapy LLC was born and named. ♥️🫶

With the push and help of my hubby, some friends, and family... my own business was thought of, birthed, and open within THREE MONTHS.

And now, here I am, almost 3 years into having my own business. ♥️

I have no regrets. Not one. Not even a wish that I had started sooner on my own - because the stars didn't align.
UNTIL THEY ALIGNED. 🙏✨️

I just have a HUGE thank you to all that have ever supported me in the past 10 years of my career. 🙏 I wouldn't be doing what I love without you. 🫶♥️

My goal? Another 10 years of doing this beautiful work that I've been gifted with. ♥️

#12 - Hayward Musky Fest 5k!! 💪

It was HOT AS HEEEEEELLLLLLLLL !! 🥵🥵🥵 OMG y'all, I thought we weren't gonna make it today!
My number 1 goal when running, is to NEVER STOP RUNNING and I greatly thought about it today because of the heat. But I kept telling myself "just this much further" and it worked!

Your girl made it! Barely 🤣🥵 And with a big push at the end! I couldn't let the other chick that I had just passed beat me! 🤣 Lol 😆

3.13 miles clocked at 29:48 - finishing 71st out of 362 and 5th for my age group!! 💪🔥
