Hi I'm Kim and welcome to Hope4YourFitness. I’m a Certified Health Restoration Practitioner, Certified Personal Trainer and Functional Nutritionist. I'm also a Certified Essential Oils coach. I believe

food and movement should be for function. Eating to live and help your body thrive free of disease. Movement is to help you have strength, balance and mobility that supports overall health and everyday function. I also believe you deserve better health care and I'm here to guide you on that path. Maybe you thought it was never possible. Maybe you've been told there is nothing wrong with you yet you don't feel well every day! That's because most medical professionals look for the band aid approach. The tools they use to mask symptoms with medications and some unnecessary surgeries without first looking to the root cause of why you have those symptoms is not healthcare. When we stop taking medications we are still sick. Remove organs and new health concerns arise. I believe there is a time and place for medications and surgeries. Medicines for short term use are sometimes needed and some surgeries are for lifesaving measures. I'm not a medical professional but I work along side them to give quality of care and after care for illnesses and surgeries. I was certified to become a practitioner by the Wellness Way, a series of restoration clinics worldwide. These principles have helped many get their health back after being told there was no hope. I believe in getting to root causes of illness through testing and restoring the body. The body doesn’t make mistakes. Lifestyle is the contributing factor for wellness. I help you transform from fatigued and failure to fabulous and forever!! I'm also an independent consultant with a health/wellness/beauty company. I recommend non-toxic wellness & personal care products to support a health. I only recommend products and services that I believe are deeply rooted in a holistic approach to healthy living. I've been a writer for Best Holistic Life magazine where I have had the privilege to share my message of Hope around the globe. My journey began with my own health diagnosis of Hashimoto's and Osteopenia. I wasn't getting answers I needed from health professionals and I knew lifelong medications were not the answer. May 23 marks World Turtle Day — a day worth SHELLABRATING 🐢🌊

Today is about more than turtles… it’s about the health of our planet too.

Since 2000, World Turtle Day has helped raise awareness about disappearing habitats and the growing threats turtles face:
Climate change
Plastic pollution
Illegal trade
Fishery bycatch
Habitat destruction
…and more.

My love for sea turtles became personal when my son studied Marine Science in college and interned at marine centers helping rescue and rehabilitate turtles before releasing them back into the ocean.

That experience opened my eyes to just how endangered these beautiful creatures are — and how much human choices impact their survival.

Sea turtles often mistake floating plastic for jellyfish, one of their favorite foods. Plastic pollution is devastating marine life and damaging our oceans daily.

That’s why I’ve become passionate about reducing plastic use and supporting brands that use recyclable packaging whenever possible.

Small changes matter:
🐢 Refuse single-use plastics
🐢 Recycle properly
🐢 Choose reusable containers
🐢 Participate in beach or park cleanups
🐢 Support turtle rescue and conservation organizations

Nearly 70% of turtle species alive today are endangered.

Ever heard of “Don’t Fry Day”? ☀️🍟

Nope… not about French fries.

It’s the Friday before Memorial Day and serves as a reminder to protect your skin and reduce the risk of skin damage and skin cancer.

And yes… excessive sun exposure can absolutely damage the skin.

But fearing the sun entirely? That may be an even bigger problem.

Years ago, I spent plenty of time tanning with baby oil, using tanning beds, eating processed foods, and never thinking twice about what I was putting on or in my body. Eventually, I dealt with my first skin cancer growth.

But instead of becoming afraid of the sun, I started looking deeper.

Cancer doesn’t happen overnight. It’s often the result of years of accumulated stressors, toxins, poor nourishment, chronic inflammation, and lifestyle habits.

Now I take a much more intentional approach:

☀️ Morning sunlight without sunscreen
☀️ Non-nano mineral SPF when needed
☀️ Tallow-based sunscreen with zinc oxide
☀️ Hydration + nutrient-dense foods
☀️ Avoiding toxic beauty & skincare products
☀️ Listening to my body and respecting nature

The sun itself isn’t the enemy.

Our disconnected lifestyles, toxic overload, poor nutrition, and constant fear are bigger issues.

Everything in nature turns toward the sun—flowers, animals, even water.

Yet humans have been taught to fear natural light instead of learning how to work with it wisely.

Your body was designed to benefit from sunshine. 🌞

Organs get removed…
Medications pile up…
And the root cause is never addressed.

Imagine calling that wellness.

PCOS just got a new name.

As of May 2026, according to a consensus published in The Lancet, PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) has been renamed PCOMS — Polyendocrine Metabolic Syndrome.

And honestly? The name change finally acknowledges what many women — and many of us in the functional wellness world — have known for years:

This was never just an o***y condition.
It’s a metabolic and endocrine disorder affecting the whole body.

Too many women have been:
• Unheard
• Unseen
• Dismissed

Ever been told your ultrasound was “normal,” so you must be fine?
That narrative is finally changing.

PCOS was never just about the ovaries.

Just like:
• Thyroid illness is not just about the thyroid
• Gallbladder attacks are not just about the gallbladder
• Liver dysfunction is not just about the liver
• Hormonal symptoms are not just about hormones

The body is connected.

Hormonal dysfunction is often secondary to deeper metabolic imbalances involving:
• Blood sugar & insulin
• Gut health
• Liver detoxification
• Chronic stress
• Sleep
• Nutrient deficiencies
• Environmental toxins
• Lifestyle patterns

Convincing women their ovaries are “broken” steals their power.
It leaves them believing there’s no hope beyond symptom management.

But healing requires looking at the WHOLE body.

This is how I’ve approached care from day one: Whole-body wellness. Inside out.

Modern medicine is finally beginning to recognize what holistic and functional approaches have long understood:
Chronic illness is systemic.
Hormonal issues are systemic.

Healing from PCOS was never about “fixing” women with a birth control pill.
It requires addressing the root causes.

You are not broken.
You never were.
The name — and the approach — were incomplete.

Eat real food
Get outside barefoot in the sunshine

Turns out mom may have been our very first wellness coach.
The best wellness advice has been here all along.

Mom has been right all along.

Love for health, wellness & longevity isn’t just a gesture… it’s one of the deepest forms of love.

When wellness starts at home, we create generational wellness. You’re not crazy for reading labels, teaching kids about real food, toxins or asking questions. It’s your job and you’re doing amazing! Keep going!
