The new year often comes with pressure to become someone "better". But what if the real magic happens when you slow down and listen inward? At this workshop you will find a soft space to explore the beliefs, fears, and old wounds that shape your choices. Learn to listen inward, release what holds you back, and step into the year feeling centered and empowered. We will start and end with the grounding healing energy of group Reiki. If in this season you are craving inner clarity, I'd love to hold this space for you.
We have openings before the holidays! Book your free consultation at www.upliftcounseling.com đ

𩺠Your Health is Your Business. Always Has Been. Always Should Be.
At Uplift, we believe something simple: every person deserves privacy in their healthcare decisions. Itâs a foundational principle of our field, not a privilege, not a partisan issue, but a basic human right.
Recent news that the federal government handed over Medicaid enrollee data, including addresses, to ICE is deeply troubling. Regardless of politics, this is a breach of trust. It shakes the core promise that care should feel safe, not surveilled.
Even in war, we treat the wounded on all sides. Healthcare doesnât choose teams. It shows up, without judgment, to reduce suffering. Thatâs what we do. Thatâs who we are.
𧥠At Uplift, we will always advocate for:
đ¨Confidentiality in care
đ¨Access without fear
đ¨Dignity for all patients
đĽAnd if youâre worried about your information being shared through insurance, we offer affordable private pay options â including membership access and discounted sessions â to give you more control over whatâs disclosed and to whom.
This isnât about politics. Itâs about ethics. And we stand by it.đĽ
Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials will be given access to the personal data of the nationâs 79 million Medicaid enrollees.

đ¸ FREE HAIRBALL TICKETS! đ¸
Whoâs ready for big hair, loud guitars, and zero worries for a night? Weâre giving away tickets to Hairball this Thursday at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair, and these seats could be yours.
Because around here, we get it, keeping all the balls in the air is no small load. And while sometimes mental health looks like honest conversation in a quiet room⌠other times, itâs cranking up an 80s rock anthem right there in the therapy office. No sh*t-it's happened.
Thatâs our kind of care: real, flexible, and definitely not your standard clinical checkbox.

And hey, if you or someone you know is a farmer carrying more stress than a concert can fix, ask us about free sessions covered by Wisconsinâs farmer wellness program. No judgment, no nonsense, just genuine support. đ

đĄ GIVEAWAY TIME
Whoâs ready for a night of Montgomery Gentry ft. Eddie Montgomery at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair WEDNESDAY?
Weâve got a pair of center left infield seats with your name on them.
Because in this small town, we know lifeâs tough â running farms, families, businesses. The hard work we put into this community shows, and that's something to be proud of. But, sometimes a night out is exactly what you need to reset.
đ Fun fact: Sara went from wearing heels as the 2010-2011 Northern Wisconsin State Fair Fairest of the Fair right into lacing up combat boots in the military. Safe to say we cover the full range and bring that same care and grit to supporting your mental health, too.

It seems that we can find ourselves stuck in stories. These stories often come with negative thoughts about our abilities or characteristics like being a âbad momâ, âinadequate husbandâ, or possibly thinking that we are ânot liked by othersâ. We can find many examples in our memory to support these stories, which strengthens their power. These stories are often weighed down with unwanted emotions. We typically try to avoid these emotions all together only to have it catch up with us, or feel the emotions so deeply that it is hard to shake them off. You may find yourself in places where you are quicker to anger, donât want to be around others, have low energy, feel down, lack concentration, or have excessive worry.
This is where counseling can help! At Uplift Counseling Center I provide a safe and judgment free place to talk about the stories weighing you down. My goal is not to provide you with advice, but instead help you discover what parts of your story are no longer serving you. I also aim to help you see yourself in a different light as I view the problem as the problem, not you! Finally, I want to assist you in attending to your pain through building resilience. So whether youâve told your story before, or this is the first time, I am excited to start this journey with you!
About Me
I am excited to launch Uplift Counseling Center in January 2020! I grew up in the Chippewa Valley, so the ability to support our community through clinical counseling and consulting services is an absolute privilege.
My professional experiences allow me to deliver treatment to a variety of people. It is important to me to focus on supporting children and adolescents. I enjoy counseling children to help them find success in and out of school, and to prevent mental illness in their future. I also think it is important to support parents and teachers through counseling. Nurturing the generations that will one day make decisions for us is an important but tiring responsibility! Another group that I connect with is military and life saving personnel. Although all of our experiences are different, one commonality is the sacrifices that life saving personnel, and their families, are asked to make. I understand how stressful this can be on the individual and the family system. Both populations experience higher levels of trauma, either directly or indirectly. No story should need to be carried alone, and it would be an honor to support you through healing from yours.
On a personal level, I am not a stranger to living with higher amounts of anxiety. Through my own journey toward living more grounded, and with more joy, I have explored treatment through both medical and holistic methods. Everyoneâs journey is different, but my experience allows me to support you in finding the best approach to fit your needs. I view counseling as a collaborative process with the goal of helping you walk out of treatment feeling uplifted!
