Earlier this month, we gathered for an afternoon of healing with a bigger purpose 💛

We hosted Acu for Girls at Eau Claire Acupuncture, an event where every treatment given carried impact far beyond our clinic walls. What started as a few hours of community acupuncture turned into dignity, opportunity, and long term support for girls in Kenya experiencing period poverty.

Because of Acu for Girls, 80 girls will receive sustainable, reusable period kits designed to last up to a decade. These kits will be delivered in March by Laura Ericson and her travel team as part of her larger fundraising initiative, Period Poverty, which is providing 260 total kits.

That afternoon, our community raised $800, contributing to an incredible $5,695 raised overall through Period Poverty.

To everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, shared, and supported in any way, thank you. This is what happens when a community comes together with intention. 🌍💛
