We're so excited to give you a little sneak peek of our newly refreshed upstairs space — but before we share more, we need YOUR help to fill it!

Our client store is where mamas and families can come to pick up essentials like diapers, wipes, clothing, and so much more — all at no cost. And right now, we have some real gaps on the shelves.

Here's what we're most in need of right now:

👶 Diapers (sizes 3–6 and pull-ups, all sizes)
🧴 Baby wipes
👕 Baby and toddler clothing (up to 5T)
😴 Summer sleepers and pajamas
🧴 Diaper rash cream
🍼 Baby formula (Similac Advance requested)
🤱 Breastfeeding supplies (nursing pads, ni**le cream, etc.)
🤰 Postpartum supplies (pads, belly bands, recovery essentials)

In April 2023, a young woman walked through our doors. She was pregnant, working toward her college degree, and figuring out what came next. She wasn't sure what to expect from us — but she kept showing up.

Over the next year and a half, we got to walk alongside her through pregnancy, birth, and new parenthood, providing the support and resources she needed each step of the way. In 2024, her baby girl was born. And this past August, she walked across that graduation stage.

She's been there. And if you're in the thick of it right now, here's what she wants you to know:

💛 "I used to feel guilty accepting help — I thought people only did it out of pity. But I learned that's not true. They're helping because they want to. You just have to get over that first hump."

💛 "Use your resources. They're there for a reason."

💛 "Put yourself out there. The only way I've found friends and support as a parent is by being honest about where I'm at and seeking out people in similar situations."

💛 "Navigating school and being a new mom won't be easy, but you can do it!"

She came to us in an unexpected moment, and she left rooted, resilient, and thriving — as a mom and as a graduate.

Today, we're celebrating 45 years of walking alongside women and families in the Chippewa Valley. 🍎

45 years of free pregnancy tests and options counseling. Of parenting classes and baby supplies. Of open doors and no-pressure conversations. Of showing up — every single day — for women who needed someone in their corner.

This milestone isn't just ours. It belongs to every woman who trusted us with her story, every volunteer who gave their time, and every donor who believed in this mission.

Whether you've been with us since the beginning or are just now finding us — welcome!

We are so grateful. And we can't wait to see what the next 45 years will look like.

Hi, I'm Callie — your Marketing & Client Store Manager here at Apple!

I'm the newest addition to our team, and have been at the center for just over a year. In my role I handle all things design, social media, and advertising, plus managing donations and keeping our client store organized and welcoming.

Being part of a place where women are met with care instead of judgment is something I don't take for granted — it's what makes showing up here every day so meaningful!

Fun facts: I'm obsessed with arranging and making things pretty, which once led me to spend a summer living on an island working at a smoothie bowl shop (still obsessed w/smoothie bowls). I also love anything outdoors — camping, tubing, pickleball, count me in!

At the end of the day I'm just so grateful to be part of this team and to get to do work that truly makes a difference.

"You can see the change in the community when you give back." — Addison, volunteer

This week, three volunteer groups showed up and transformed our center.

They built furniture, cleaned every corner, sorted baby clothes, and set up shelves in our new client store. Hours of work that directly supports the families who walk through our doors.

We are so grateful for our church partners and volunteer groups! Your dedication to supporting families in Eau Claire and the Chippewa Valley makes a world of difference. Thanks for all that you do!

One of the ways Apple walks alongside women and families is through Earn While You Learn — a program designed to equip, encourage, and support.

EWYL gives clients the opportunity to: grow in knowledge, build parenting confidence, learn practical skills, and earn baby essentials along the way.

Because support should be both meaningful and practical. We love offering resources that help families feel more prepared and less alone.
