I know I don’t post on here often, or ever🙈. And I know I’ve said this before, but I don’t feel like I can state my appreciation enough for all of you.

I’m sitting here in my car returning phone calls and emails before I go into the office and I just have such an overwhelming feeling of gratitude.

I have scheduled 5 new patients this week alone because of all of your referrals. That’s 5 new pups that will be touched through chiropractic. That’s 5 new owners who will be given a chance at more time with their companion.

Because of all of you I’m still here doing what I love. Because of all of you my only job is to show up and take care of patients as you’ve done the marketing for me in the last (almost) 8 years. I cannot put a price tag on that.

So thank you, once again, from the bottom of my heart for supporting my passion day in and day out through your referrals. I truly love each and every one of you🩷.

Between patients I ran over to say goodbye to one of my patients yesterday. I adored this boy and his parents. I told myself I wasn’t going to cry and I held off until I had to kiss him goodbye one last time, then I lost it. I love these babies as if they’re my own. I form a bond with them when they’re trusted in my care. This is the part of my job that I dread. Hope you’re running free and barking at all of the mail trucks up in heaven. Love you sweet boy😭🩵.

Just here to say THANK YOU. You guys are incredible about recommending me. Every time I see my name or my business tagged as a recommendation I have to pinch myself. Y’all really know how to show up for me. I’ve built this business solely on referrals. I have put almost $0 into marketing or advertising in the last 7.5 years and I’m not kidding one bit. I like to pop on here every once in a blue moon to share something on my heart🫶🏼.

I came across a memory from a few years ago where I shared the WHY behind what I do, so I thought I’d share it again☺️.

✨My WHY✨

This past weekend, my husband and I joined a group of chiropractors in the beautiful Puerto Rican Rainforest for a mastermind, some personal growth and some business building. What an honor it is to be a part of such an incredible group of successful people!

During our Friday morning session we dove deep into our WHY’s. We peeled away layer after layer to get to the core essence of why we do what we do. I had the privilege of partnering with someone who has been a part of my life for a long time so it was easy to get to such a vulnerable place—thank you, Pete. But I would like to take a leap of faith and share that vulnerable place with you guys.

The reason I care so much about helping these beautiful souls is because all throughout my life, they have given me the unconditional love I haven’t always been able to give myself. It started when I was young, my Golden Retriever, Nikko, was a pillow to cry on through years of being bullied by my peers and not being accepted for who I was. He was there for me during the deepest darkest years of battling an eating disorder and through so many heartbreaks that came with those adolescent years. Fast forward to a few years ago, my Vivi came into my life and was there for me as I navigated the heartbreak of a miscarriage and an extreme bout of anxiety. Even though I rescued her, she actually rescued me. Each one of my dogs have served their purpose throughout my life.

My WHY boils down to unconditional love. My hope is that by unconditionally loving your pet and helping to improve their quality of life, they can in turn continue to unconditionally love you during the times you may be lacking grace or love for yourself. That right there is my WHY.

I LOVE what I do with every ounce of my being and I wouldn’t trade the honor of this job for the world. Thank you for allowing me to be vulnerable with you guys. I encourage you to sit down and really dig deep for your why, it may surprise you🖤.

I realize I don’t post on here as much as I should, or at all for that matter. I prefer to educate in my office where the opinions of others and the scrutiny of social media doesn’t exist. But, I noticed I have a lot of new followers so I thought I would say a little bit about myself and why I do what I do for those of you who don’t know me☺️.

My name is Dr. Alyse LaGuardia Hall. I am a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Certified Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapist (aka an Animal Chiropractor). My grandfather, Dr. L. Joe Stucky, founded Stucky Chiropractic in Eau Claire, WI, 65 years ago. My parents, Dr. Jay LaGuardia and Dr. Pam Stucky-LaGuardia joined the practice after their graduation and helped build it into one of the largest single chiropractic clinics in the nation. My husband is now the third generation owner and is carrying on the baton🩵.

I am a native to Eau Claire, graduating from Memorial High School in 2007. After attending UW-Eau Claire, I moved to Marietta, GA, in 2011 to attend Life University’s Chiropractic School. During my first quarter of the DC program I met my husband, Dr. Eddie Hall. We got married in June of 2014 and we were accompanied across the graduation stage by my alumni parents in December of 2015. My husband and I are chiropractors 19 and 20 in my family, with 21 and 22 currently in school. My grandpa used to always joke that we could be anything we wanted to be as long as we were a chiropractor😅.

My dream was to always work with animals in some way, shape or form. Shortly after graduation, I chose to complete post-graduate work at Healing Oasis Wellness Center in Sturtevant, WI. The 226-hour post-graduate certification emphasized functional and clinical neurology as it pertains to both small and large animals. After graduating from the program I started my own practice, Happy Tails Chiropractic, in January 2017. I am located inside of Stucky Chiropractic, in Eau Claire, WI. I work alongside local veterinarian referrals who see the need for chiropractic care in their patients.

When I am not seeing patients, you can find me spending time with my husband, our 6.5 year old daughter, Kinsley Jo, and our three dogs, Cash, Vivi and Emmi (pictured). You will find Emmi in my shadow everywhere I go. She’s the true definition of a therapy dog🥰. My second passion is fitness so you can also find me working out alongside our members at our gym, F45 East Eau Claire, a functional training studio that my husband and I co-own alongside my sister, her husband and my parents. And if I’m not at any of our businesses, we are probably traveling. We don’t like to stay in WI for long periods of time unless it’s summer🤪.

This is why I always keep my dogs on the leaner side, treats are only used in special occasions and the only ‘rawhides’ they get are real marrow bones, antlers or water Buffalo horns (bones that take forever to wear down).
