🚢 Today we kicked things off with a wild twist on Battleship — teams launched balls over a giant board to “fire” at the other side. Sounds epic, right? Well… let’s just say it was more of a belly flop than a cannonball 😂

So what do we do at Rellim when something flops? Easy — we let the seniors choose! 🎉 Bingo it was.

But the real star of the show? 🐾 Samson.

Our gentle giant camped out under the table, offering his fluffy self for foot cuddles all around. And just when we thought it could not get any sweeter… one of our ladies bent all the way down, head under the table, just to give him some loving. When we told her she might want to sit up so the blood did not rush to her head, she said, “Leave me alone, I am happy!” 😂

Dogs really are good for the soul! 😊🐾

🧠✨Mental Gym Day Alert!✨️🧠

Today we introduced a couple new challenging games that stretched our brains in the best ways!
Cup Stacking and Who am I: a little wobbly at the start (and not just the cups), but once they got the hang of it, there was no stopping the focus and the fun!

Let's just say.. the seniors earned their snacks today! 😂 It was a beautiful reminder that challenging our minds can still come with a lot of fun 😊

💥 Our seniors crushed it today! Take a peek at everything packed into one unforgettable day at Rellim:

✅ Learned to play WAR
Turns out, seniors are competitive... and hilarious. Cards were flying (in a good way)!

✅ Visitors: Our younger guests brought joy, energy, and some serious checkers skills. Intergenerational magic at its finest.

✅ Balloonie Ball Mayhem
We started with one balloon, then added two, then THREE! Rackets in hand, giggles all around.

✅ Pinecone Canvas Art
Pinecones from a recent nature walk were turned into keepsake masterpieces. Messy hands, beautiful hearts.

✅ Helicopter Kit & Checkers Corner
While some crafted, others conquered the game table and engineered a helicopter. No downtime here!

✅ Pampering Spa Time
Facials, hand masks, and painted toes. Because aging with grace should still come with glam. 💅

💤 We are pretty sure everyone will sleep like champions tonight.

We had a fun day of activities planned for today, but what do you do when the seniors say they would rather bowl?
Well… you bowl! 🎳💥

And honestly? We could 'spare' the schedule for this kind of fun. 😉
Laughter, strikes, and even a few victory dances—it was well worth it! 😊

When the storm rolled in… so did the stories...

A thunderstorm sent us into our safety room—but what started as a Legacy Video activity turned into something unforgettable.
One question sparked another, and soon the seniors were leading the conversation—sharing wisdom, laughter, and a few tender tears.
The rain may have been outside, but the real downpour was love, connection, and the beauty of simply being together. 💬❤️

🎈 Yesterday was National Be Someone Day — a day that reminds us how even ten seconds of kindness can change a child’s life...
..but the impact goes both ways. Watching our seniors and kids laugh, connect, and just be silly during this balloon toss reminded us how powerful simple joy can be.

Today’s Ultimate Rellim Car Show was a roaring success — and you made it happen!
