Bella Joy Foundation is restarting their Angel Mama’s group this Saturday. A beautiful light hearted opportunity in our community for mothers to connect and remember their babies. Join them for coffee/tea on Saturday and then our support group on Monday, September 8th. 💕

🦋 We touch on why we keep running the same thoughts in our head over and over, how do we grieve, understanding how our bodies respond to trauma, how to recognize it, how to heal, and where we can find hope.

Of this we are certain, nothing, not even death, can diminish a parent's love.

A Father’s grief is often overlooked. Often, friends, family, and caregivers focus on the moms, and dads then grieve quietly as they support their partner or help maintain the household responsibilities. But men grieve too, and they deserve the same support and understanding.
If you are a bereaved dad, know that we are thinking of you and your baby today. Reach out to us anytime. Your grief matters. Your baby matters.

Tomorrow is our Share Memorial and Burial service at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Eau Claire. It is supposed to be a beautiful day for our service. We are so honored and humbled to serve our families in this way. We have set up our pinwheels and tulips at all the babies headstones there now, remembering and honoring all our little ones 🤍

This isn’t talked about enough. Loosing our babies is traumatic, truly traumatic. And this trauma can persist for years after.

It can present itself as anxiety and depression (as examples), and the stress can wreak havoc on our physical bodies as well.

We begin to talk about how this trauma looks in our lives in our support group. But creating awareness and letting you know, you’re not alone in this - is so important.

Share of the Chippewa Valley is so honored to be able to host our annual memorial and burial service.

In memory and recognition of those who have experienced a miscarriage or infant loss, you and your extended family are welcome to attend, June 7th at 1:00 p.m.

For some families, this is the actual burial of their tiny baby that was born less than 20 weeks gestation 💗 and for many it is a symbolic service of remembrance.

We honor and recognize these tiny little lives that impact us so deeply. These babies and their family deserve a proper burial and closure that a funeral can provide.

We also want families to know, if you miscarried at home and would like baby included in our burial, please contact us. We are happy to make that possible.

We thank Sacred Heart Parish and their cemetery for providing this space and funds to make this free for Share and our families. We thank Smith Funeral Chapel & Eau Claire Memorial Crematory for assisting us with the arrangements. Thank you to OakLeaf Surgical Hospital and Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire, WI as well as Black River Memorial Hospital in Black River Falls for allowing us to serve your families. We also thank the volunteers and musicians who donate their time and talent to Share to make our services more memorable.
