❗We’re seeing higher levels of norovirus, or “stomach flu,” circulating right now. Protect yourself by washing your hands with soap and water often (hand sanitizer doesn’t kill norovirus germs).

Norovirus is a very contagious stomach illness that can cause sudden nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach pain. Here’s what else you can do to protect yourself and others:

🚽 Wash after using the bathroom or changing diapers
🤲Wash before eating or preparing food
🧼 Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces
🤮 Stay home when you’re sick

Kids love being part of what’s happening. In the kitchen, that can look like a few simple things:
✔️ Stirring ingredients
✔️ Sprinkling toppings
✔️ Washing fruits and veggies
✔️ Carrying items to the counter
Small moments like these can help kids feel included, curious about food, and sometimes more open to trying what they helped make.
What’s your little one’s favorite way to help in the kitchen?

It is recommended that school aged children have their eyes checked yearly for vision issues and if there is an issue found, referred to an ophthalmologist for further evaluation.
