If you wake up to a bat in your room, or in the room of an unattended child, pet, or mentally impaired or intoxicated person, take action. Bat bites are hard to detect because their teeth are small and bite marks can disappear quickly. Do not set the bat free!! Safely capture the bat and call the Eau Claire City-County Health Department.
