Western Wisconsin Urology is deeply saddened by the closing of HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital and local Prevea Clinics . For nearly 50 years we have partnered with these hospitals to provide Urology care in the Chippewa Valley and across western Wisconsin. While these closures will leave a large void in the community, Western Wisconsin Urology remains available and committed to our patients.

For our patients who have care scheduled at one of the closing facilities, our team will reach out to you directly to reschedule to a different facility if necessary. For our patients scheduled to see us in our medical office, there will be no changes.

This individual must have the ability to work in a fast pace environment and multi-task while providing outstanding patient care. Our ideal applicant will be a team driven candidate with strong communication skills, organizational skills and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities of this position include:

· Rooming patients

· Chart prep/clinic set up

· Administering injections

· Patient data entry

· Other duties as appropriate

Formal medical assistant, nursing assistant or nursing training required. Medical assistant certification or nursing license required within 6 months of employment.

This is a full-time position, Monday thru Friday. Hours range between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm. Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Position is based in our Eau Claire office with day travel one day per week.'

Medical Office Specialist Wanted

Western Wisconsin Urology is seeking a positive, hardworking individual to join our front office team. This individual must have the ability to work in a fast pace environment and multi-task while providing outstanding customer service. Our ideal applicant will be a team driven candidate with strong communication skills, organizational skills and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities of this position include:

· Answering phones

· Scheduling patient appointments

· Processing incoming patient records

· Chart preparation

· Data Entry

· Other appropriate front office tasks.

High School or GED required. Medical office specialist or medical assistant degree and/or certification preferred. Previous medical office experience to include multi-line telephone, data entry, and customer service required. Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial.
