Congratulations, ML!!

He shared that before Vision Therapy, he was having problems with vision, distance, getting car sick, blurry vision far away and up close, reading problems, and more.

His mom added, "he was having trouble with comprehension after reading stories and tasks. Doing schoolwork was frustrating, and watching him struggle with catching a ball and not socializing with other children was heartbreaking. After he started his therapy sessions, he is .ore confident in himself, more social, doing better in school, and being able to show more effort when participating in sports events."

He worked hard with his therapist to tie his shoes!

Congratulations, Chloe!

Before Vision Therapy Chloe was having problems with wye fatigue that was causing headaches. Her mom shares, "Chloe's eyes rest outwards, and she would be unaware when her eye would slide out. Vision Therapy has helped tremendously with the headaches. She now reads fluently, and her handwriting has improved. Her eye slides out still, but she is more aware and has better control. All staff at KVDC have been wonderful."

We loved working with Chloe and are so excited for her!

I'm not crying. You're crying...
We are going to miss this young man, but we are so proud of his success!

Before Vision Therapy, Sawyer said he had trouble with headaches and finishing homework on time. "This has helped me so much with all of the problems. For those who are considering, do it."

His mom shared that "Sawyer was having problems with EVERYTHING! Sawyer was struggling in school and only given tools to pass him along. The implications made were not helping Sawyer to grow. He would not try sports or new things. His confidence was at an all-time low. Homework took hours regardless of how hard he tried. I remember crying myself to sleep because he was trying so hard with no progress or recognition for all his work.

My son now has his life back, and the stars are the limit for him. He is trying new things, his confidence is gaining, and he is managing school without daily struggles."

Congratulations, Matthew!

Matthew is so excited to graduate from his Vision Therapy program! He said before VT he was having trouble with reading, staying focused, and listening at school. Now he is doing great!

His mom shared that "before VT Matthew had problems staying focused in school. He was tiring easily and rubbing his eyes a lot. He NEVER wanted to go to school. I knew he was a bright kid and understood the material, but had a hard time during school applying his skills. Something wasn't adding up. It was recommended that he try Vision Therapy. Since his treatment plan, Matthew is excelling in school. He is able to focus on his work, see all materials given and has gained the confidence he needed. He is now earning almost all As!"

What an amazing story! We are so proud of your hard work!

Check out the amazing Vision Therapy forest scene on our office windows painted by local artist Kaitlyn McMullen.

Kaitlyn is a senior at Central Cambria High School and this painting is a part of her senior project. She had such a fun vision for how this scene would play and was able to add in the cutest Vision Therapy details.

We are certainly going to enjoy these critters this fall and are excited to see what other great things Kaitlyn accomplishes next!

Congratulations, Ava!!

Before Vision Therapy, Ava was having problems running into things, reading, headaches, and using her right eye. "But now, I can see with my right eye, no more headaches, and I don't run into tables and doorways anymore. "

Her mom shares: "Ava had trouble with depth perception, suppression, reading for long periods of time and eye coordination. After therapy, Ava can read for longer periods of time. She no longer complains of headaches, which were almost a daily problem. She is now able to ride a bike, and her deep perception has improved so much that she doesn't run into things. She definitely has more self-confidence and wants to try new things."

Congratulations, Lincoln!

Before Vision Therapy, his mom said he was having trouble focusing on task demands, reading for extended periods of time, and frustration during reading and writing.
"Now he is sitting and reading with enjoyment! He is sitting to do homework without frustration and can focus more! I'm super impressed."

Congratulations Heath!!

Before Vision Therapy Heath's dad shares that he had trouble focusing on objects and would cause dizziness and headaches. Following Vision Therapy, these instances no longer exist and Heath is able to focus with zero visual disturbances or headaches.

Heath said, "I was having problems with seeing. Having my eyes better it feels so much better. So, definitely do it!" 😀

Congratulations, Natalie!!

We are so proud of you and the hard work you put into your program! When we first met Natalie, she was struggling to keep up with work and didn't have energy for things she enjoyed.

Natalie shared, "Before Vision Therapy, I was having problems with headaches, blurry vision, brain fog, and fatigue. It used to be difficult to complete tasks, especially on a screen, on time due to my eyes being tired. Throughout my time in Vision Therapy, I have noticed great improvements in fatigue, brain fog, and headaches. I am now able to complete my work comfortably in the expected time."

We are going to miss Angelina, but we are so proud of her progress!

Her mom shared, "Before Vision Therapy Angelina was having problems with reading and math. She was struggling in school and it had left her frustrated and not enjoying school. Since Vision Therapy, I have noticed a much more confident change in her. She enjoys reading and is excited to start 3rd grade in Colorado. A big thank you to the team at KVDC!"
