WOW this is awesome. All I can think of is how Dale would call me during his first bout with AML when he was riding the stationary bike in his room. He would say that he was in a neighboring town and how real it was to him. He would use his imagination to transport himself out of his room that he stayed in for 6+months. His ability to use his imagination and how real it was to him was a huge contributor to his positive attitude.
I love how technology is helping cancer patients to experience what Dale's imagination helped him.
CTCA I have an idea!!! Let's make it happen!!!
Through the virtual reality goggles, patients can immerse themselves in forests, beaches, or popular local recreation spots while undergoing chemotherapy.
