Thanks to our ACIST Medical team, we reached our fundraising goal of $5,000 for the American Heart Association! That meant that Tom Priebe (VP, Operations), Greg Hernandez (Sr. VP, Marketing), Todd Towne (Manager, Production), and Amanda Dlugopolski (Office Facilities Manager) were all dunked, and great sports about it!

Last week, our team in Heerlen had a rare opportunity to participate in the , an inspiring event focused on encouraging physical activity among young people!

With 700 primary school children running on the cinder track at the Kaalheide stadium and joining in a variety of sports activities on the inner court, it was a day full of energy, fun, and team spirit.

We were proud to support the event and assist with the organization of sports games, helping to make this day both safe and exciting for the kids.

A huge thank you to everyone involved, especially the 10 amazing volunteers who dedicated their time to make this event possible. Together, we’re helping the next generation stay active, healthy, and engaged!

At , we believe in the power of staying active and feeling great! That's why every two weeks, we host a 15-minute energizer session at our EMEA HQ in Heerlen, led by Kelly Stessen.

These sessions feature exercises designed for all fitness levels. Whether it’s stretching, flexibility, or strength-building routines, there's something for everyone. The goal is simple: to help our team feel more energized, vital, and refreshed.

The SBHCI Congress took place last week in Porto Alegre, Brazil, marking the most significant and well-attended interventional cardiology event in the country.

During the congress, our distributor, CMS Medical, has officially launched the ACIST HDi® High-Definition IVUS and the Kodama® Dual-Frequency IVUS Catheter, both of which have recently been approved for sale in Brazil.

With numerous product presentations at the booth and insightful discussions about ACIST HDi technology, the congress was a great opportunity to connect with healthcare professionals.

Three incredibly interesting and complex "live-in-a-box" cases were presented, with support from the hospitals themselves:

• ACIST HDi in LM and very calcified LAD

• ACIST HDi and RXi in LM and LAD

• ACIST HDi in TAVI

Last week, during CSI-NIC in Mumbai, India, Prof. Dr. Christoph Hammerstingl, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Eduardus Hospital in Cologne, Germany, spoke about ACIST HDi® technology during an exclusive HDi Imaging session, organized by Translumina.

During the session, Prof. Hammerstingl shared global insights on:

High-Definition IVUS: The Backbone of Modern Coronary Care

The Role of Intra-Coronary Imaging in Treating In-Stent Restenosis (ISR)

The Critical Importance of Dual-Frequency (60/40 MHz) IVUS in Left Main Interventions

At NIC 2025, the ACIST HD IVUS experience brought together top Indian faculty and global leaders to explore how advanced imaging is transforming interventional cardiology. A live case demonstration by Dr. Sujatha further showcased the real-time application of HD IVUS in managing a complex coronary lesion.

Our team has just returned from Nice, where over the course of three days they connected with leading experts and showcased our innovative high-definition IVUS solution, ACIST HDi®, in action.

Highlights included two live case demonstrations of the ACIST HDi system from the Centre Cardio-Thoracique in Monaco, a live-in-a-box presentation by Prof. Stéphane Carlier from University Hospital Mons, and an insightful presentation on the clinical value of HDi by our own Elena Andrade.

This meeting was a clear demonstration of the growing interest in precision imaging and the value of HD IVUS in tackling complex CTO procedures. We’re proud to be part of the conversation shaping the future of cardiovascular care.
