ACIST looks forward to being part of the Image Guidance in PCI “iPCI Hands-On Meeting 2025” in Rotterdam on November 20–21.

Led by course director Dr. Joost Daemen (Thoraxcenter, Erasmus University MC, Rotterdam) and supported by a top international faculty, iPCI 2025 offers an immersive, practical experience for 40 European physicians and fellows. Attendees will rotate through small-group workshops covering key topics such as plaque recognition, IVUS in LM and CTO, calcium and lesion preparation, and more.

ACIST will host two interactive workshops:

1️⃣ IVUS in Complex PCI – moderated by Dr. Joost Daemen and Prof Dr. Christoph Hammerstingl

2️⃣ IVUS in ACS – moderated by Prof Dr. Christoph Hammerstingl and Jurgen Ligthart

On 16–18 October, the ACIST CVi® Contrast Injection System took center stage at the annual Interventional Cardiology Congress of the Hungarian Society of Cardiology, represented by B. Braun, our distribution partner in the region.

This year marks 20 years since Professor Dr. Iván Horváth introduced the first ACIST CVi injector in Hungary, a milestone that we are very proud of. As part of the congress, Prof Horváth. led a symposium dedicated to the clinical value of the ACIST CVi technology.

Today, ACIST CVi is used in the majority of PCI labs across Hungary, supporting clinicians in delivering safe and efficient coronary interventions. This remarkable achievement reflects the strong partnership between ACIST and B. Braun, working together to support interventional cardiology in Hungary.

Successful IVUS Advanced Days in Heerlen!

We just wrapped up a fantastic 2-day ACIST HDi® Advanced Days workshop at the ACIST office in Heerlen, Netherlands!

It was great to welcome distribution partners and Bracco colleagues from across Europe, including Belgium, UK, Greece, Cyprus, and the UAE. The workshop was expertly moderated by Olivera and Elena from our EMEA CV marketing team, and featured hands-on image interpretation training with real cases led by Imaging Specialists Jurgen Ligthart (LIMIC Medical) and Karen Witberg.

A big thank you to Jurgen and Karen for their invaluable expertise and interactive training approach, and to all participants for your dedication and enthusiasm. Your engagement made these days truly inspiring!

"Intuitive, easy to use, and crisp images”

These were the most common comments we received about ACIST HDi® IVUS during the SBHCI PCI+ Congress, held at the Dante Pazzanese Institute of Cardiology in São Paulo, Brazil, last week.

We were proud to participate in this dynamic and engaging event, where our Brazilian partner CMS/SCITECH showcased ACIST HDi IVUS, available to Brazilian customers for a few months now.

The congress was very well attended, and many of Brazil’s leading interventional cardiologists stopped by our booth to explore the system and discuss both the current and future applications of this technology.

As part of the scientific program, a live case featuring a highly calcified LM and LAD was broadcast, during which ACIST HDi IVUS played a critical role in guiding the treatment.

We’d like to thank the operators Dr. R. Costa and Dr. L. Nakayama for their trust in our technology, as well as Dr. D. Bandeira, who analyzed the IVUS images with confidence and ease, despite the fact that he had only been introduced to the technology recently. An additional proof of how user-friendly the ACIST HDi system is.

Step by step, we made a difference! Our Eden Prairie team crushed the STEPtember challenge, raising $2,583 for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation. Every stride counted — and we’re proud to have walked for a great cause!
