Today, we worked on the /t/ sound. We read Pete the Cat - Four Groovy Buttons. During art, we made tie-dyed socks!! Next week is our last week of Apraxia Adventure Camp!

Today in Apraxia Adventure Camp, we worked on the /s/ and /z/ sounds. We read “Zoom, Zoom – Sounds of Things that Go in the City”. We looked through kinetic sand for hidden objects starting with our target sounds. We played the game Hiss and Sandy’s Snack Shack with peers. And we played on the swings and the slide in the sensory gym. 🛝🐍🚗

Today in Apraxia Adventure Camp, we worked on the /h/ sound. We read “Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb”. We made bunnies and fed them carrots with pictures starting with “h”. We played hot potato and hopped like bunnies in the gym. And we played the games Bunny Hop and Hungry, Hungry Hippo with our friends! 🐰👋🦛

Today in Apraxia Adventure Camp, we worked on the /k/ and /g/ sounds. In art, we played with our playdough smash mats. In literacy, we read Go, Go, Stop. We played with the Critter Clinic and looked for items that start with our target sounds, like “goose”, “guy”, and “cat”. In the gym, we played a “stop/go” game with movement. 🛑🚦❤️
