We want to give a warm welcome to Urban Speech & Occupational Therapy for joining the 2025 Grand Champions Club! This team celebrated in the Twin Cities Walk for Apraxia.

When asked about what participating in the Walk for Apraxia means to them, the team responded with “We feel it is important to participate in the Twin Cities Walk for Apraxia because we can show support for our families of children with CAS, spread awareness in our community, and have a great time while supporting a good cause!"

Today our team dressed up as the Little Spot of Feelings curriculum. USOT uses this curriculum in speech and occupational therapy sessions to learn about seven common emotions: happiness, sadness, love, anger, confidence, peaceful, and anxiety. Each spot teaches us how to identify and manage these emotions in daily life.
