IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are incredibly excited to announce the newest addition to our team of practitioners at Valeo! Please welcome Breeanna McCarthy, Integrative Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner.

Breeanna is a lifelong learner and passionate questioner of all things related to medicine and science who proudly considers herself a biochemistry nerd! She has been a nurse practitioner since 2015 and a nurse since 2007, with experience spanning internal medicine, emergency medicine, and urgent care settings.

After discovering the work of Dr. Mark Hyman and Dr. Jeffrey Bland, she was inspired to expand her knowledge base and pursue certification through the Institute for Functional Medicine. Since then, she’s been deeply passionate about identifying root causes and helping patients' piece together the “why” behind their symptoms rather than simply treating them at the surface level.

Breeanna’s favorite part of practicing medicine is connecting the dots, solving complex health puzzles, and partnering with patients to create personalized, sustainable approaches to wellness.

Breeanna is a wonderful fit for any adult looking for a practitioner focused on women's health, hormones, weight loss, thyroid conditions, and autoimmune conditions.

Outside of work, she is married to Ryan and shares her home with three rescue bulldogs (Hank, Larry, and Charlotte) who keep life entertaining and demand plenty of attention! She and her husband enjoy traveling, attending concerts, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings — SKOL VIKINGS!

Stop the Trafficking!

There is an estimated 27+ million victims of human trafficking worldwide. This is heartbreaking.

We'd love for you to join us on Saturday, June 13th to raise awareness and funds to end human trafficking. Several Valeo staff members will be participating in the 5K Stop the Trafficking walk/run at Purgatory Creek Park in Eden Prairie.

You can register for the event at https://www.stopthetraffickingrun.org/2026 and use the code VALEO5 to save $5 off your registration fee. If you're unable to walk/run but would still like to support the cause, you may do so on the website through their "Donate" button.
