Congratulations on graduating your vision therapy program, we are SO proud of you! 👏
Lucy made so many incredible changes throughout the last year. Here’s what her mom has to say about her experience with MVTC:
“Initially, we brought Lucy in because as a teacher, I was doing all of these things with her, breaking down lessons in math and reading, and it just seemed like we kept hitting roadblock after roadblock. Reading was hard, math was hard; and despite being a super creative kid, she didn’t really want to draw or color. As a teacher this really just raised some big red flags for me. Coming in and observing her during her initial assessment it became very clear that this was a vision issue.
Throughout her hard work, we have seen great progress with her confidence, her ability to do math and her reading. Now she is drawing and coloring pictures constantly, our walls don’t have enough space to showcase all of her artwork. Her math tests that she used to perform below grade level on, she is now either at or above grade level. And her reading has greatly increased as well. We are excited to think about how much easier school will be in third grade.”
