Hey friends. What a crazy time we're living in right now. Our office is continuing to be OPEN. We are taking one day at a time, and listening to reliable info from our county health department, the CDC, and WHO to be sure we're doing all we can to keep our community healthy. Please follow us on Facebook or Instagram for further updates - and I will continue to post uplifting and educational information to get us through uncertain days and weeks ahead.
With regards to COVID-19, our office is following strict protocols for disinfection and disease prevention, and our daily cleaning procedures exceed all current OSHA and CDC guidelines for infectious diseases, including COVID-19.
Treatment rooms, equipment, and instruments are disinfected between patients. We are also disinfecting shared surfaces, such as doorknobs and countertops, on a regular basis throughout the day, using a medical-grade disinfectant/decontaminant cleaner spray- both of which will kill any virus cell that lies on these surfaces within 2 minutes time.
We are actively monitoring the CDC website for any updates regarding the virus, and we will continue to modify our practices based on current research on the virus and/or recommendations that are presented by OSHA or the CDC regarding it. To be official, I want to establish the following guidelines for patients when they come to our office.
The staff has been trained to do infection control in the office. I have encouraged all of them to stay home and avoid any patient care if they show any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 for a period of 14 days.
For patients - we encourage anyone who feels symptomatic to stay home. We can always reschedule your appointment for a later date. We have sent screening questions regarding the COVID-19 and if you are sick and/or you feel symptomatic you will need to cancel and reschedule your appointment out 14 days. An immediate notification will enable us to give your appointment to another patient.
Your health and safety are of primary concern for us. Please stay home if you are feeling ill. To my patients who are over 65 years old, or who have serious chronic medical conditions like heart disease, diabetes, or lung disease, I urge you to read the current CDC guidelines about staying healthy. You are at a higher risk of complications from coronavirus.
If you are concerned, we have come up with a solution for those who prefer not to sit in the reception area while waiting for your appointment. After you park your car, call us at (952)-500-8733and let us know you have arrived. We will then call you when your treatment room is ready and you can come in and go straight to your room. When your visit is over if you prefer not to stand at the front desk, feel free to call us once you return to your car to pay with a credit card and make future appointments. We will be working on spacing out appointments so that we have fewer people in our building at one time.
At Zen Healing Center, we are always seeking out the best in keeping our patients healthy. We are committed to help all families during good times and difficult times.
As your Chiropractor, I am committed to the highest standards in keeping my office carefully sanitized, and will continue to take all necessary measures to provide a safe and clean environment for my staff and patients.
