Researchers at the University of Minnesota are currently recruiting for a clinical trial related to Crohn's Disease. This trial aims to compare how healthy donor microbes function when delivered to the small intestine versus the large intestine in people with Crohn’s disease. We want to extend a huge thank you to our Achieving Cures Together community. 2025 has been nothing short of inspiring; ACT celebrated our 10th birthday, funded the first year of an Ulcerative Colitis clinical trial at the University of Minnesota, and raised over $650,000 through the support of our Growing Hope attendees, marathon teams, pickleball tournament, and the incredible generosity of the ACT community. Your partnership is fueling the advancement of Microbiota Transplant Therapy research, providing hope to patients and their families, and ultimately saving lives. We are energized to continue expanding our mission and impact in 2026 and grateful for the ACT village of patients, friends, family members, and advocates who make this work possible.

ACT is excited to be a charity partner at the 2026 Colfax Marathon! Any runner that registers between now and January 2 for a Sunday race will receive an additional Colfax Marathon t-shirt that they can pick up now at Runners Roost in Denver. We can't wait to support our Denver marathon team this spring, and cheer them on as they run to raise money for microbiota research!

Achieving Cures Together is featured in the Do Good Events annual DGE Giveback! Do Good Events supports ACT in the planning and ex*****on of our annual Growing Hope event every year and we couldn't do it without them! If you would like to support ACT please go like the image on the Do Good Events page from Growing Hope that represents ACT! The organization that gets the most likes will win $3,000 and second place will win $500. Every like counts!

Each year, we take time to celebrate the spirit of connection and generosity that makes our community so special. The DGE Giveback is one of our favorite traditions! It is a chance to shine a light on our nonprofit partners creating meaningful impact and to say “thank you” for all the good they do. We are lucky to work with each of you!
This year, we are donating $3,000 to the organization that gets the most votes and $500 to the second-place organization.
