I founded AMARQ Fitness after I discovered my passion for fitness and well-being through a mid-life transformation. After six months of cancer treatments, I realized I didn't know how to take care of myself. I cleaned up my eating, shedding thirty pounds in just over a year. I began bodybuilding, competing in my first figure competition five months later. I also pursued fitness modeling, shooting
with some of the top photographers in the industry. Inspired by the people I met along the way, I enrolled as a student at the National Personal Training Institute. Six months later, I became a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). On July 29, 2016, I launched AMARQ Fitness. My motto “We help you fall in love with you” embodies all that I learned improving my life and enhancing my well-being. Long lasting change is only achieved and sustained when coming from a mindset of positivity and self-love. My lifestyle management philosophy encourages you to affect change in all areas of your life: health, relationships, work and spiritual growth. Progress in one area buoys all the others. Success begets success. But you have to love yourself first. You’ll be amazed at the results that simple change of mind can make. Everything I have accomplished happened after the age of 46. Change is possible at every age. It’s never too late to improve your life. If you don’t wake up today feeling better than you did yesterday, there may be a better way.
