🌿 Today’s Qigong Wellness Tip: Yin–Yang Water 🌿

Yin–Yang Water is one of the simplest and most powerful daily practices used by Taoists to balance energy, support digestion, and improve whole-body circulation.

Here’s how to make it:
✨ Fill half a glass with room-temperature spring or tap water
✨ Add half a glass of freshly boiled hot water
✨ Mix and drink immediately while it’s warm

Today, I want to share with you a important hand posture to help with invasive energies.

Remember "invasive" energies aren't necessary "bad" energies.... they are just energies that are not in alignment with yours.

In Spring Forest Qigong Level Two, we teach a simple technique to use for protection...

Touch your thumb to your index finger, making a circle (similar to the "okay" sign).

Holding this posture keeps your energy from draining when you experience fear.

When you are with an angry person or someone who threatens you, holding this posture will cause the energy channels in your body to close so that no energy can be taken out.

Quiet your mind when dealing with these people and put loving light around them.

This will help you and it will help them.

When meditating, I encourage you to hold the protection posture to strengthen your kidney energy after you have had an open hand posture for the first two to three minutes.

The reason we do this is because, a open hand allows the energy to flow in and out of the body moving out blockages more easily.

When you've done this, then you close the channels with the protection posture to simply collect the beautiful healing energy of the universe.

Hello, my dear friends,

If you find you are getting angry, especially if you are quick to anger during the wintertime you should definitely drink more water.

This means that your yin energy is not strong enough.

Anger is fire energy and water can be used the to balance that fire.

You can drink as much water as you need or enjoy throughout the day but having a MINIMUM of 3 full glasses at these times, is good for your health in the winter and for longevity.

In the morning between 7 to 9 o’clock, a glass of water is very good for the stomach and the intestines. The digestive system and stomach channels are on duty and the water helps the stomach energy channels.

At 5 o’clock the kidney energy channel is on duty. Kidney energy, like water, is Yin energy so water at this time helps you to strengthen your vitality.

At 9:00 pm the yang energy in the heart is very strong. This is fire energy and water quenches fire so when you drink a glass of water it helps to calm down that energy to strengthen the kidney energy and help calm down the emotions so your energy is ready to go to bed.

Strengthen Heart Circulation, Support Sleep, and Boost Your Immune System ❤️✨

Did you know your forearms hold powerful energy points that can regulate the flow of Qi throughout your body and support both physical and emotional health?

One key point is located about two inches above the first line at the bottom of your left palm, in the center of your forearm between two tendons. Massaging this point:
✔️ Strengthens circulation in your heart
✔️ Supports your lymphatic system
✔️ Boosts your immune system
✔️ Improves insomnia and promotes relaxation

🌿 How to Massage:

Locate the point about two inches from the base of your palm toward your elbow, in the center between the tendons. It may feel sore.

Massage firmly with your thumb for 1–3 minutes per arm.

Repeat as often as you like.

Another vital energy point nearby is Pericardium 6 (PC6):

Found on the inner forearm, three finger-widths above the wrist crease, between two tendons.

Stimulates heart health, calms anxiety, eases chest discomfort, palpitations, and nausea.

Helps relax the mind and regulate Qi flow along the forearm meridians.

By stimulating these points, you can harmonize your heart energy, improve sleep, and enhance overall vitality.

Strengthening your legs and knees is very beneficial in winter.

This is important because the legs represent vitality and when the legs get cold in the winter it can drain your vitality energy and lead to health problems when spring comes.

These things are especially important for people who have or have had heart problems.

There are many energy channels that run through the knees, including; The liver energy channel, the pancreas energy channel, the stomach energy channel and the bladder energy channel.

The knees and heels have many important energy points and the flow of energy can easily become stagnant and the simplest thing you can do to keep this from happening is to....

👉Keep your Legs warm in the winter. This will help to keep your kidney energy from being depleted in winter. Just by doing that you can help prevent colds and the loss of your vital kidney energy.

👉Standing with your knees bent while doing your Spring Forest Qigong Active Exercises is a good way to strengthen your legs and keep them active. When you do your qigong active exercises bend your knees a little. Bend them as deeply as you feel comfortable doing. Winter is the season of love.

This is the best time of the year because the love energy is stronger now than any other time in the year.

This is the season of helping, the season of blessing, of giving, of being thankful. All of these energies are aspects of love.

Throughout this next month be as active as you can be, engaging yourself with others, your community, helping more people.

This is a great time to volunteer to help those in need, if you can. If you don’t have the time, when you walk into a store — put a dime or quarter or whatever you can into the donation basket. If you have no money that’s okay, make a prayer each day for those in need.

Focus on the Heart.

Today, I want to share with you a exercise to help you strengthen and protect your kidney energy, which is very important at this time of the year.

This simple exercise, helps strengthen weak knees and get the energy flowing in the Liver and Kidneys and also helps to detoxify the energy

It’s easy. Simply stand there and kick one foot out and then the other.
(see picture in post for example)

You don’t have to kick hard. Do it as many times as you feel comfortable.
