I was a very conventional consumer until I was introduced to doTERRA essential oils in February 2014. My oldest (7) and youngest (1) had been suffering from raging ear infections for over 2 months and after 4 rounds of antibiotics we were still not making any headway. My oldest son was starting to experience hearing loss because of his. When I received a note from his teacher that said he seemed to be having trouble hearing, needless to say, I was in panic mode. I contacted our pediatrician and she wanted to prescribed yet another round of antibiotics. (That's round #5 for those of you who are counting.) Frustrated and in a panic, I opted to take matters into my own hands. I contacted a girlfriend from high school who lives a very natural, holistic lifestyle and asked her for advice. I was willing to try whatever voodoo she recommended. She suggested 2 things: 1) take them to see a chiropractor; and 2) try essential oils. She then invited me to attend a doTERRA class with her that week. Having no experience with essential oils, I hesitantly enrolled and purchased the Family Physician Kit and to my surprise, within 9 days of using the oils, my sons' ear infections were completely gone and my oldest's hearing was back to normal! Anyway, that is when I realized that there was something to be said for natural remedies and over the course of the next few months, I feel in love with doTERRA's oils. Now we use them for everything! Out of that love grew Golden Hour Remedies. Named after the most beautiful time of day, sunrise and sunset, Golden Hour Remedies provides an opportunity for people to experience closer to the earth products for everyday living. I use doTERRA essential oils in all of my homemade products. And to this day, it still amazes me how well our bodies respond products free of chemicals, toxins and preservatives that we cannot pronounce. My love of doTERRA's essential oils and homemade products reflect my passion for helping others live a cleaner, simpler, more natural life.
