I learned a lot of things this weekend, none of which I took away more than simply, our life is made up of chapters and stories and we get choose who the characters are and how the stories will play out. We either live in default settings, like a phone right out of the box, or we change our settings to fit into the life we’ve created for ourselves.

Be brave, go do something that scares the s**t out of you and see who is still standing with you afterwards. Those are you people. And go do it again and again and after enough changes, big or small, you’ve unveiled the person that was there all along. We’re already here, we already have everything we need, now is the time to harvest our red apples. Don’t settle for the tribe that tolerates you, instead go to where you are celebrated.

Find your tribe, go look for them. Some will be serious, d***y, analytical, bashful, and loving. Find those who have your back in the bad times, not just walk by your side in the sunshine. Thank you Ms , I know you have my back and I have yours. Don’t think so much during the tough times, instead ask yourself ‘why so serious?’ Remember to Take It Easy, breathe, and take a shot at that goalie.

The matrix is all around us in codes and wavelengths, look beyond it. Step outside of the box, and play in your own sand, eventually you will find the gold you were looking for.

Sometimes you have it, and sometimes you feel like in game 5 of the 1997 finals. I’m grateful to have had my with me, Mr. , to inspire me and push me beyond what I thought I could do and finishing the race feeling Like Jordan, Game 6! I’m grateful for your energy and friendship. Here’s to many more runs, good times, and laughter!❤️🐿️

Thank you Florida for your sunshine and warmth. It was incredibly hot, coming from New England, but I loved every minute of it. Always a great time with my folks and I’m grateful to be able to visit them in such a beautiful place with really great friends. Already looking forward to next year. 🌞

Six years ago today, the Friday that begins winter break on the island, I moved to Martha’s Vineyard.

When I moved here, I didn’t know a single person and really had no clue where I was even moving. I had no idea there is no bridge to the island, that we have no stoplights and no fast food restaurants. Life is much different here than where I grew up, but I love it. I love learning about life next to the ocean, the community that makes up the backbone of the island, and the heartbeat of the beaches and the galaxy above. Moving to a place so different from what I knew, on top of not knowing anyone, was one of the best things I’ve ever done for learning about myself. It has challenged me and opened me up in ways I believed and hoped it would, and also far beyond.

I’ve had an incredible amount of highs and lows while living here, and in 2022, Life kicked. And it kicked hard! I’m grateful for my family, on the island and across the country, for holding me up and keeping me going. It’s not always easy to keep going, but with one foot in front of the other, eventually we walk, to jog, to run again and when we’re at least taking a step forward, we can’t live in the past.

Earlier this month, I took a trip to a conference in Dallas where I knew one person, that I met in August, for two hours. Only a handful of people knew that I left the island, and before I knew it, I once again found myself over a thousand miles away from anyone I really knew and felt the same comfort in myself that I did six years ago when I moved to the island. The conference in Dallas changed my life and gave me another family as well. I had no idea who I would meet along with the experiences I had, but am beyond grateful and excited to see where life goes from here.

I can’t remember if it was Jenna Zwagil or Andrew Huberman who said it, and maybe it was both, but they said something along the lines of…The Process is the Reward. Today I ran along the ocean, in 20+ mph winds, making the air temp feel link 18°, followed up by a cold plunge in a choppy 39° ocean, and all I could do was smile. It was cold, the wind felt like little paper-cuts on my skin, and I wasn’t too sure what the human body was capable of, but sometimes we have to challenge the mind, body, and soul in order to find out or limits.

I appreciate every single one of you and if you’ve made it this far on this post, I am very grateful for you and the love and support from you along my journey. It has been filled with rewards, gifts, and presents and I look forward to creating and sharing more beautiful energy in the years to come!

Late to make this post, but had a ton of fun being in Chicago with my family and friends for Christmas.
Took a little extra time off to spend with everyone and take in the beautiful sights of Naperville. It was great meeting new friends and making memories with old ones.
It was special to all be together Christmas morning and to bring back some delicious scallops from the island that I dove for and shucked myself for my family to enjoy!!
Grateful everyone had safe travels and already looking forward to being together again. 🎄❤️

Millinocket, You had me at hello.
I was excited to see your beauty,
but I was not expecting to leave with a heart full of gratitude and overflowing love from your community.
From picking up our bib numbers to leaving on our way out of town, the people of Millinocket were welcoming and smiling to see all of us enter as strangers and leave as friends.
To the beautiful people at , thank you for your genuine hospitality and making us truly feel at home.
The rain, wind, and cold only added to the raging fire at the finish line, showing the endurance of all the runners to embrace the conditions less than ideal with a smile and warmth running through our blood.
With every step and breath, I was filled with the magic of Mount Katahdin and now understand that running Millinocket truly is not about what you get, but what you give.
To .russell, and all my other new friends as well as all the people of Millinocket, thank you for the healing on so many levels that you gave me this weekend. I can’t wait to see you all next year. Sending an incredible amount of Love and Light from the island to all of you! 🙌🏼✌🏼❤️🌞✨❄️🙏🏼
