I'm sharing info for a fantastic online pilates (with some yoga mixed in) class... the instructor, Kimberly, is so knowledgeable. ✨🧘🏻‍♀️🕉️

This class uses a skeletal structure (pun intended) that decompresses the spine,
by increasing spinal, as well as hip and shoulder girdle flexibility and range of motion
through full body strengthening, lengthening, and alignment.

Informing this class is my expertise in meeting participants 'where they are at’, individually and collectively, on a per class
basis along with safely teaching in the moment according to desires and needs.

Each session will include proper breathing and engagement, pelvic stabilization, ribcage stabilization, spinal extension, shoulder stabilization, hip flexor & add/abductor stabilization, spinal flexion and rotation, hip range of motion…
all to decompress strengthen and lengthen the spine.

As a 500+ hour certified yoga teacher, yoga therapist, I=MX Pilates and I=MX Spinal Pilates certified instructor, and former studio owner, I teach many styles and types of yoga to novice beginners through advanced students.
One of my most popular classes is an All Level Spinal Core, wherein I teach using my plethora of experience, education and certifications in Biomechanics, Yoga and Pilates.

Flip-flops are famously rough on the body and it's NOT just because they lack support. They encourage flexion of the toes (to hold the shoe to your foot) at a time in gait when you should be EXTENDING the toes. The result is compensation throughout the body, especially the neck.
