ECEMS is excited to announce a new career opportunity! We are hosting a EMT Academy right here in Edgefield! This is a great opportunity to become involved in your community and help others!

We will offer paid training and upon successful completion and certification, employees will be assigned to a full-time shift.

The Academy is scheduled to start in early February.

Paramedic Shawn Stephens saved thousands of lives during his 30 plus years serving in the CSRA. He mentored hundreds of EMT’s and Paramedics during his career. It was a honor to have Shawn serve in Edgefield County. He will be greatly missed and his impact will not be forgotten.

A big thank you to Emergency Transportation Associates for taking this 2014 ambulance and upgrading it to a 2025. We are looking forward to serving the citizens of Edgefield County with this new unit!
