Want better sleep in 2026? Start with chiropractic care 😴

If you're lying awake at 2 am with a racing mind, struggling to fall asleep, or waking up exhausted no matter how many hours you get - that's not a sleep problem. That's a nervous system problem.

Your ability to sleep isn't about how dark your room is or what supplements you take (though those can help). It's about whether your nervous system can shift from sympathetic (fight-or-flight) to parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) mode.

When your nervous system is stuck in survival mode - which happens with chronic stress, spinal misalignments, and accumulated tension - your body literally can't access the deep, restorative sleep it needs.

Here's what actually happens:

Your brain keeps scanning for threats.
Your muscles stay tense.
Your stress hormones remain elevated.
Your heart rate stays high.
And no amount of melatonin can override a dysregulated nervous system.
