Today we honor Juneteenth — Emancipation Day.
On June 19, 1865, the last enslaved people in the U.S. were finally informed of their freedom — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

We celebrate Freedom Day in solidarity with Black communities and in commitment to justice, liberation, and equality.

May we continue to LISTEN, learn, and take action toward collective healing and freedom. ❤️

April is Stress Awareness Month 🧘‍♂️🧘‍♀️
Taking care of ourselves is key to managing stress! Here are some Self-Care Practices:
✨ Adequate Sleep - Sleep supports brain function, mood, and energy levels. A bedtime routine that includes some light movement or stretching with a lean protein snack can also help our bodies recover and keep our blood sugar stable to wake up feeling refreshed.
🏃 Movement - Simple stretches, short walks, to dance parties💃 release endorphins, reduce tension, and boost overall well-being. Do what you can ❤️
🥦 Gut Health – A balanced gut improves mood and reduces anxiety. In times of high stress, it's important to be mindful to incorporate anti-inflammatory foods such as whole grains, fresh fruits, and vegetables daily.
🤝 Connection – Social support helps lower stress and enhances emotional resilience. Stress can make us feel isolated, so whether it's coffee with a friend or a local class, find time to connect.
💛 Be Kind to Yourself – Self-compassion reduces negative self-talk and promotes inner peace. Prioritize YOU!
