❤️ Love was in the Air at Our "Pal"entine’s Party! ❤️

Our hearts are absolutely full after such a wonderful Valentine’s celebration! It truly takes a village to create these special moments, and we are so incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed their time, talents, and treats.

A huge THANK YOU to:

🎹 Ray Oswald: For filling our cafeteria with beautiful music on the piano.

🍎 Our local Edgerton School District 5th Graders & their wonderful Teacher: For bringing so much youthful energy and joy to our residents.

🧀 dam paradise indianford: For the delicious cheese curds—they were a massive hit!

🍪 Kasy Mentink: For the sweet treats that disappeared way too fast.

🧴 Marisa Walton: For the Scentsy hand lotions. These will be perfect for our aromatherapy and hand massage sessions!

🧃 Mary from Dietary: For keeping us all hydrated (and ensuring the kiddos had plenty of juice to keep their energy up!).

🩺 Activities & Nursing Teams: For the endless behind-the-scenes work to make sure everything ran smoothly.

🩺 Davis Family Dentistry: For the adorable treat bags that put a smile on everyone's face.

💌 Our Community Groups: To the 4H groups, local classrooms, and churches who sent in beautiful Valentine’s cards and treats.

To our Residents: Thank you to everyone who helped prep the party and assemble bags. Your hard work made the day even more meaningful!

To the Families: Thank you for coming to spend time with your loved ones. Seeing those connections is why we do what we do.

We are so lucky to be part of such a supportive, caring community. Happy Valentine’s Day! 🌹✨

Our hearts are so full after today’s visit! If you have a child in the 5th-grade class that came to craft, pass out valentines, and visit with the residents here at ECC, you should not only be extremely proud—you should be inspired.

The kindness and empathy these students showed today proved that you’re never too young to make a massive impact. They didn’t just bring handmade valentines; they brought sunshine, energy, and genuine connection to our residents’ morning.

Our favorite moment? As the class was heading out the door, we overheard one kiddo whisper to his friend, “Low key, that was so fun!” Knowing they enjoyed their time here as much as our residents enjoyed having them is the best Valentine's gift we could ask for. Thank you for sharing your wonderful children with our community!

Thank you EHS Student Council! You're all VERY sweet! 🩷

Hi everyone, my name is Carmen Clark, and I’m really excited to be here as the new Administrator at Edgerton Care Center. I truly appreciate the warm welcome I’ve already received—it’s meant a lot as I step into this role.

I’ve always been drawn to skilled nursing because it’s such meaningful, personal work. Building relationships, caring for others, and making sure residents feel safe, respected, and truly at home is something I genuinely care about.

A little about me outside of work—I love traveling and cooking, especially with my daughter and friends. I’m a proud mom to my 10-year-old daughter, Kylie, and I have two stepchildren and four grandchildren who keep life full and busy in the very best way.

Fun fact about me: our household is a bit of a mini-zoo. We have two dogs, seven chickens, and a bearded dragon, so there’s never a dull moment at home!

As I step into this role, my main goal is to listen, learn, and work alongside all of you. My door is always open, and I truly believe the best care happens when we support one another and communicate openly. I’m really looking forward to getting to know each of you and being part of the Edgerton Care Center community.

Thank you for welcoming me—I’m excited to be here!

A Season of Gratitude at Edgerton Care Center 🤍

As we enter this new year, our Edgerton family is reflecting on a season of leadership transition. Most importantly, we are taking this time to honor two incredible women who have been the heart of our community.

Amy Ramirez, our Administrator, will be concluding her time at Edgerton on February 6, followed later in the month by Bertha Cruz Herrera, our Director of Nursing.

Amy and Bertha have been so much more than leaders; they have been the steady hands and compassionate hearts behind the high-quality care our residents and families rely on. We extend our deepest, most heartfelt thanks to both of them for their years of unwavering dedication and service. While we will miss them dearly, we wish them nothing but the very best as they begin their next chapters.

As we look ahead to 2026, we remain committed to the warmth and excellence Amy and Bertha helped build. We are also pleased to welcome Carmen Clark as our new Administrator to help lead our team forward in our mission of resident-centered care.

Please join us in thanking Amy and Bertha for everything they’ve done for our community! 👇
